Sub Account glossary

There are a few terms you must know to use Sub Account. The terms and their descriptions are as follows.
Two-factor authentication
An additional authentication process, performed during the log-in process for NAVER Cloud Platform after entering the ID and password, for the protection of personal information and safe service use
Secure Token Service
A feature to create and use temporary access keys on the Sub Account of NAVER Cloud Platform, which can control access to resources on NAVER Cloud Platform for security
Account
It's an email address created to use NAVER Cloud Platform. It generally includes the significance of the user's personal and payment information. It is also an ID with which you can use all NAVER Cloud Platform services. See NAVER Cloud Platform glossary for details.
Sub account
"Sub account" in Sub Account is an account that fulfills a role of assistant which co-uses and manages resources of the main account. A sub account is allowed to use services only within the permission they are granted.
Role
Refers to a temporary credential made up of policies in Sub Account of NAVER Cloud Platform. Multiple policies can be configured for a role, and a temporary credential can be granted by assigning them to the servers owned by the account.
Policy
Policies in NAVER Cloud Platform's Sub Account that define the permissions that users logged in with sub account can work on. They can be assigned per sub account or group, and the permissions in the portal and console differs depending on the assigned policy.
