Troubleshoot common issues

The following are examples of common errors you might encounter:

Sub account password loss
You forgot the Sub Account password.
You failed to log in to the Sub Account 5 times.
You want to reset the Sub Account password.

Unable to view billing information from Sub Account
When you try to check total due from a sub account by going to My Page > Service Usage History a message appears indicating that you do not have permission.

Authentication Issues

The following are examples of authentication-related issues you might encounter:

Cannot call APIs with a Sub Account
You cannot call APIs using a Sub Account.
The My page > Manage Account > Authentication key management menu is not visible from a Sub Account.

Issuing authentication key
You don’t know where to issue the authentication key required to call APIs from a Sub Account.

Resource issues

The following are examples of resource-related issues you might encounter:

Resource management by Sub Account
You want to manage resources by Sub Account.
You want to assign permissions so the Sub Account can view only resources in a specific region.

Cannot create VPC
You cannot create a VPC from a Sub Account.
