You might run into the following problems when using Sub Account: Find out causes and possible solutions.
Sub Account Password Loss
You forgot your Sub Account password.
You failed to log in to a Sub Account five times.
You want to reset the Sub Account password.
Cause
This happens when the Sub Account fails to log in due to multiple incorrect password attempts or because the password is forgotten.
Solution
You can change the Sub Account password from the main account. Refer to Edit Sub Account to change the password.
Unable to view billing information from Sub Account
When accessing My Account > Billing Information and Expense Management > Billing and Payment Management in the console to view charges for a Sub Account, you are notified that you do not have permission.
Cause
Sub Accounts must have the necessary permissions to view billing information. Only the main account can grant these permissions.
Solution
Ask the main account to assign the following permissions:
- NCP_ADMINISTRATOR: Permission that allows access to the NAVER Cloud Platform portal and console with the same rights as the main account.
- NCP_FINANCE_MANAGER: Access only to Cost Explorer and My Account > Billing and Cost Management > Billing and Payments in the console
