    Article Summary

    Available in VPC

The Service Function Chain (hereinafter SFC) can define the network flow (chain) of the endpoint and the SFC subnet created in the transit VPC for specific destinations.
The detailed features of SFC are as follows:

    • The resources within the transit VPC that can define flow are as follows:
      • Endpoint : IGW(Internet Gateway), VGW(Virtual Gateway), Transit VPC Connect
      • Inline Load Balancer created in the private LB subnet
      • Specific NIC of virtual appliances created in the SFC subnet
    • SFC flows in a one-way direction. If you defined a flow for ingress, you must also define a flow for egress.
