Available in Classic and VPC

Project describes how to create and manage Visual Localization (VL) projects to build the digital twin data.

The Project interface includes the following components:

View project list

You can view the project list and project details. To view the information:

1. Navigate to > Services > Digital Twin > ARC eye in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Navigate to Visual Localization > Project .
3. View the summary in the project list or click a project to view the detailed information.
   
   • Project ID: The ID automatically generated upon creating a project
   • Project type (General / Mobile): Project type selected by the user when creating a project
   • Project name: The name of the project
     • : Click to edit the name of the project. (See Edit project.)
   • Creation date and time (UTC+09:00): Date when the project was created
   • API version (UTC+09:00): API version of the current project
     • [Go to API]: View the API list of the project. It is displayed when a VL Data conversion was succeeded
   • Location information: View the project location information with map images
     • [View map]: Click to view or edit the location information set upon creating the project with map images. (See Edit project.)
   • Project Description: View or edit the description of a project
     • : Click to edit the description of the project. (See Edit project.)

Create project

You can create new projects. To create a build project:

1. Navigate to > Services > Digital Twin > ARC eye in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Navigate to Visual Localization > Project .
3. Click**[Create VL project]** .
4. Select a project type, and then click [Next] .
   • [Type. General] selection: When using data scanned with dedicated mapping device
   • [Type. Mobile] selection: When using data scanned with the ARC eye Scan app
5. Enter the name and description for the project.
6. Register the location.
   • Select from map: Click [View map], search the address and mark the location on the map with the drawing tool.
   • Manual registration: Upload an image with a location mark manually
   • If you do not register an image at this stage, you can add the image after creating a project by clicking [View map] of the project in the list. (See Edit project.)
7. Click [Create] .

Modify project

You can edit the name, description and map information of a created project. To edit a project:

1. Navigate to > Services > Digital Twin > ARC eye in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Navigate to Visual Localization > Project .
3. Click the target project you want to edit in the project list and edit the project information.
   • To edit the location information. Click [View map] in the list and then click [Edit location] on the View map pop-up window. When the Edit location pop-up window appears, edit the location and click [Apply] .
     • For more information on registering a location, see Create project.
   • To edit the name and description of a project, click under the Project name and Project description items in the detailed information field of the project. After editing the project name and description in the displayed input field, click [Save] . To cancel editing, click [Cancel] .

Delete a project.

You can delete the created projects. To delete it:

1. Navigate to > Services > Digital Twin > ARC eye in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Navigate to Visual Localization > Project .
3. Click the project you want to delete and click [Delete project] .
4. Once the Delete project pop-up window appears, click [Delete] .
