This section describes the Game live mode and its usage. Game live mode supports the game live type among the three Live broadcast types supported by the PRISM Live Studio mobile app. Game live refers to a live format of capturing and utilizing games running on a device for Live broadcast.

    Game live mode

Launch the B2B PRISM Live Studio mobile app and select the [LIVE] button at the bottom of the mode tab to go to the Prepare for Live broadcast screen. A tab to select the Live broadcast mode exists right above the [Ready] button at the bottom of the app screen. The tab consists of the [Screen], [Camera], and [VTuber] tabs. Select the [Screen] tab to start Live broadcast in Game live mode.

    Screen tab

The feature that allows you to start Live broadcast in Game live mode with the [Screen] tab is named Screencast in the app. This means Live streaming the screen of a smartphone device. Therefore, you can use this mode for purposes other than game-related Live broadcast. However, this feature is mainly used for game live broadcasts, which is why the term Game live mode is used.
When the app switches to Game live mode, the app's screen transitions to dark gray from the camera preview. This is because the camera feed is not used in Game live mode. You can find the buttons to edit the screen layout for game live broadcasts. There is a button for configuring the vertical screen game live broadcast's layout and a button for configuring the horizontal screen game live broadcast's layout. Clicking the buttons moves you to the Edit screen layout menu.

    Edit screen layout

Game Live broadcast is primarily composed of a combination of the game screen and additional elements such as chat and banners. Layout is the combination format of each element. The screen layout editing menu is divided into the editing menu for the vertical screen and the editing menu for horizontal screen. However, the results of editing the layout in both menus are in horizontal format with a 16:9 ratio. The difference is the way each smartphone screen is captured, with one being in a vertical orientation and the other in a horizontal orientation.
The screen layout editing menu consists of a screen layout preview area and functional buttons for layout editing. The screen layout preview area is where the editor can intuitively check the result of the edited layout. It also serves as the area where the actual layout editing occurs. The buttons for editing are gathered in the top right corner of the screen. The [Go to Add source menu] button, the [Go to Layer menu] button, and the [Rotate screen] button are available.
