- In the above table, the △ mark indicates that only Windows environments are supported.
- You can use all security services in security monitoring in the security monitoring managed, which is available for a fee. For a detailed description of the security monitoring managed, refer to the Security Monitoring Guide.
Services with impact
Basic Security performs monitoring based on IP address. So even if they're not connected to Basic Security, if you're using NAVER Cloud Platform's other services that assign public IPs or LB IPs, then it may affect the service. Therefore, check if the NAVER Cloud Platform's services you're using assign public IPs or load balancer IPs. For reference, the examples of NAVER Cloud Platform's services related to public IP or load balancer IP are as follows:
- Compute: Server, Load Balancer, Public IP, etc.
- Database: Cloud DB for MySQL, Cloud DB for MSSQL, Cloud DB for Cache, Cloud DB for MongoDB, Cloud DB for PostgreSQL, etc.
- Big Data & Analytics: Cloud Hadoop, Search Engine Service, etc.
Precautions for using security services
It guides precautions when using the security service provided by Basic Security. You must familiarize yourself with the precautions since they are related to the normal operation of Basic Security.
Usage fee
Basic Security is provided free of charge to all customers using NAVER Cloud Platform.
Notification service
Basic Security provides notification services only with login ID (email) when registering for IDS event detection reports.
