    The following tasks need be performed before setting up linkage with the NAVER TalkTalk messenger.

    • Create API Gateway invoke URL
    • Create a NAVER TalkTalk account
    • Copy the NAVER TalkTalk account settings and channel access token value
    Note

    The method to create and set up NAVER TalkTalk account as described in this guide may slightly differ from the actual process.

    Create a NAVER TalkTalk account

    The following describes how to create a NAVER TalkTalk account.

    1. Access TalkTalk partner center (https://partner.talk.naver.com/) and click the [Get started] button.
    2. Log in with a NAVER account, proceed with the sign-up and mobile phone authentication procedure, and then click the [Create account] button.
    3. Click the [Connect service] button.
    4. Select a NAVER service to connect, and then click the [Connect service] button.
    5. Select the representative information for the account, and then click the [Next] button.
    6. Enter the profile information, and then click the [Request subscription] button.
      • When creating a test account, insert the word "[Test]" in front of the profile name. Then, the account will be excluded from TalkTalk merchant search results, thereby blocking incoming user access while the test is in progress.

      • It takes one business day to create an account due to the review process. An SMS notification will be sent once the account is created.
      • The status of a created account is displayed as "In review" and then to "Active" when the review is completed.

    When the review of the TalkTalk account is completed, click Manage my account and go to the main page for account management. The URL for accessing the chatbot is provided in the list.
    The following describes how to set up a NAVER TalkTalk account.

    1. Access TalkTalk partner center (https://partner.talk.naver.com/), and log in.
    2. Click the [Manage my account] button at the top of the page.
    3. From the Manage my account page, click Developer tools > Chatbot API settings.
    4. To set up a webhook, enter the invoke URL value created in API Gateway basic linkage in the "URL to receive event" field.
    5. Click the [Change event] button in "Select event."
      • Confirm if it's set as Send and Open.
    6. From the Sending API's Authorization field, click the [Create] button.
      • It will be changed to the [Reset] button after creation.
      • The authorization value is the channel access token which will be provided as input value when linking the messenger. Copy and save it in advance.
    7. Copy the created authorization.

    TalkTalk linkage settings in chatbot builder

    The following describes how to set up linkage with NAVER TalkTalk in the chatbot builder.

    1. Complete the preliminary preparation.
      • Link API Gateway
      • Create and set up NAVER TalkTalk account
      • Copy channel access token
    2. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > CLOVA Chatbot > Domain menus, in that order.
    3. Click the [Run builder] button of the domain you want to run the chatbot builder.
    4. From the chatbot builder, click Chatbot settings > Link messenger button.
    5. Enable TalkTalk,, and then click the [Link] button.
    6. Enter the channel access token value in the Step 3 area of Messenger linkage settings.
    7. Select whether to link the fixed menu or not.
    8. Click the [Link] button.
