- If the amount of collected logs exceeds 10 GB or 10 million items per day, performance may be limited when searching saved logs.
- Log storage capacity: Limited by the pricing plan.
- If the storage capacity is exceeded, up to 30% of the data from the past up until the previous day may be deleted to secure additional storage capacity.
- Log storage period: Up to 30 days
- Data older than 30 days is deleted sequentially from the oldest data.
- If the number of log types created by the custom log settings exceeds 20, it may affect the search and export features.
- Log size limit: Maximum 100 KB.
- If the size of a log exceeds 100 KB, it cannot be saved.
- For limitations based on your pricing plan, see Pricing plan configuration.
- You can view collected logs and export them to Object Storage or automatically back them up to Object Storage.
Collection limited status
If the daily log collection capacity is exceeded, it goes into the collection limited status.
- Under the collection limited status, no additional logs are collected, and new logs can be collected starting on the next day.
- Under the collection restricted status, a notification is displayed to inform you that collection limits are being applied when accessing a menu in Cloud Log Analytics from the console, and an instruction email is sent to the user.
Pricing information
You can select 1 of the 2 pricing plans (standard, premium) provided by Cloud Log Analytics.
You can only change the pricing plan once a month. For more information on changing the pricing plan, see Manage subscriptions.
The usage fees are calculated by adding the fees calculated according to each pricing plan and the fees for API calls.
- API calls are used if you provide your services using the public Cloud Log Analytics API from other services, and no fees are currently charged.
For the detailed standard for Cloud Log Analytics usage fee, see the pricing information in Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Log Analytics on the portal.
