The Notification Setting menu allows you to add or remove people from notification recipient lists for check results. Added notification recipients can receive weekly resource check result reports by email.

Note
  • Notification recipients can be selected from a list of eligible managers registered in the Notification Recipient menu in Cloud Insight (VPC). For more information about managing notification recipients, see the Cloud Insight user guide.
  • Weekly emails(weekly check result reports) will be sent every Monday at approximately 8 AM(UTC+09:00).
  • The most recent check results will be sent for any items not automatically checked due to waiting periods.
  • Sensitive information such as login ID and user name will be partially redacted in check result reports. Check the console for full report details. (See View Check Results for Individual Items)

Notification Settings

The basic layout of the Cloud Advisor Notification Settings menu is as follows:

  • [Learn More About the Product]: Sends you to the About Cloud Advisor page
  • [Refresh]: Refreshes the Notification Settings interface
③ Category Tabs Select notification recipients by category
  • [Security]: Set email recipients for security check result reports
  • [Cost & Availability]: Set email recipients for cost and availability check result reports
④ Filtering and Registering Notification Recipients Filter and register notification recipients
  • Recipient Groups: Filters the list of notification recipients by selecting a notification recipient group
    • Displays group names registered using the Notification Recipient menu in Cloud Insight
  • [Manage Notification Recipients]: You can register new notification recipients in the Notification Recipient menu in Cloud Insight

Managing Notification Recipients

The following instructions describe how to add or remove notification recipients.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menu in order.
  2. Click the Notification Settings menu.
  3. Click on a category tab to add notification recipients.
    • Check result reports will be sent to the notification recipients in the selected category.
    • See Checklists for more information on checklists by category.
  4. Select your notification recipients from the Name dropdown menu.
    • The email addresses of the selected notification recipients will be displayed in the Email column. Check result reports will be sent to the listed email addresses.
    • To filter the list of notification recipients by selecting a recipient group, select the group name in the Recipient Group dropdown menu.
    • To add a notification recipient, click [Manage Notification Recipients] and register the notification recipient from the Notification Recipient menu in Cloud Insight. For details, see Cloud Insight user guide.
  5. Click the [Add] button.
    • This adds a new notification recipient to the list.
    • Click i-cloudadvisor-delete to remove an added notification recipient.
