You might run into the following problems when using CLOVA OCR. Find out causes and possible solutions.

Cannot create domain

I cannot create a General OCR domain.
I can only select templates from the domain creation page.

Cause

For General OCR, you can create only 1 domain.

Solution

As explained in the cause section, it is a normal operation and it does not need any action.

Issues with saving and using uploaded files

Are the uploaded files saved or used in improving performance?

Causes and solutions

NAVER Cloud Platform does not save the original data and recognition results and not use them to improve engine performance or analyze patterns using data either. Only the minimum log data is saved to check the fee based on the call access history.

Specialized model request approval

The specialized model request has not been approved.

Causes and solutions

Requests are approved sequentially, and it takes about 3 business days.

Disabled specialized model setting button

[Set specialized model] button is disabled.

Cause

You can set the specialized model only on the main account.

Solution

On your main account, request for the specialized model setting. Once the specialized model setting is completed, a sub account can create domains and use builders.
