The Device settings page describes basic settings and usage methods required after the Data Teleporter-dedicated device is delivered to the customer. After the device is connected to the customer's on-premise network environment through basic settings, data transfer will be performed.
- Supports NAVER Cloud's technical support service supports device delivery, installation, and overall use procedures.
- Secure space and power to install the device close to the switch port to which the device will be connected.
Network environment settings
Set the network interface and IP address of the device to connect the device to the on-premise network. The following describes how to configure settings.
First, activate the device by entering the password in the activation menu.
- Press the [Left (◀)]/[Right (▶)] button to select a network interface and press the [SEL] button.
- 1G/10G/40G: select network interface
- >>: select to shut down the device (see Shut down device)
- Check the settings of the selected network interface and press the [SEL] button.
- Press the [Up (▲)]/[Down (▼)] button to select whether to change the network interface settings and press the [SEL] button.
- Y: set the network interface and IP address as current settings
- N: change IP address (see IP address change)
IP address change
The following describes how to change the IP address of the device.
- See Network environment settings and go to the IP address change page of the network interface.
- Press the [Left (◀)]/[Right (▶)] button to select the source of the IP address.
- DHCP: enter IP address automatically
- STATIC: enter static IP address directly
- Enter the IP address and press the [SEL] button.
- [Left (◀)]/[Right (▶)] button: select the part of the IP address to change
- [Up (▲)]/[Down (▼)] button: enter the IP address
- Press the [Up (▲)]/[Down (▼)] button to select the netmask and press the [SEL] button.
After setting the netmask, set the Internet gateway to complete changing the IP address.
Transfer data
Transfer data between the device and the on-premise storage. Check the supported OS and transfer method for the following protocols.
- FTP: Windows, MacOS, Linux
- NFS: Linux, Unix
- CIFS(SAMBA): Windows
- First, set the device's network environment. (see Network environment settings)
- To avoid data loss, keep the device connected during data transfer.
Data transfer through FTP
The following describes how to transfer data through FTP using FileZilla.
Here, the method of transferring the data by using FileZilla is described. For more information on FileZilla, see FileZilla website (English).
- Download and install FileZilla on the server connected to the on-premise storage.
- Enter the connection information of the device and click the [Quick connect] button.
- The authentication information of network credentials for accessing the device is provided separately.
- When a device appears in the Remote site area, transfer the data to the path.
Data transfer through NFS
The following describes how to transfer data through NFS.
Run the terminal program on the server connected to the on-premise storage.
Enter the following command to mount the device.
mount -t nfs (IP address of the device):/ncpdata (place to mount)

mount -t nfs 10.10.50.40:/ncpdata /mnt/ncp
Please send the data to the path where the device is mounted.
Data transfer through CIFS (SAMBA)
The following describes how to transfer data through CIFS (SAMBA).
- Run File Explorer on the server connected to the on-premise storage.
- Enter
\\(장비의 IP 주소)
in the address bar and press the [Enter] key.- <example>

- The authentication information of network credentials for accessing the device is provided separately.

- When the "ncp" shared folder appears, transfer data to that folder.
Shut down device
The following describes how to shut down a device.
- Go to the network interface setting screen of the device.
- Press the [Left (◀)]/[Right (▶)] button to select >> and press the [SEL] button.
- 1G/10G/40G: select when setting the network interface (see Network environment settings)
- Press the [SEL] button.
