This section describes the components of the Quota setting menu and how to set a monthly quota.

Quota setting interface

The Quota setting interface includes the following components:

Component Description
① Menu name Current menu name.

Monthly quota settings Display the current monthly quota and change the settings.
Save Set the monthly quota and then click the button to save the Monthly quota settings.

Monthly quota settings

You can set a monthly quota to prevent unintended API calls caused by factors such as excessive requests to your service or errors in your applications. When the number of API calls reaches the set quota, API calls are restricted and notifications are sent to the designated recipients via SMS or email.

Caution

You can reset the monthly quota at any time, but it may take a few minutes for the change to take effect. Therefore, even after setting a quota, API calls may exceed it for a few minutes.

To set a monthly quota:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > GeoLocation.
  2. Click the Quota setting menu.
  3. Set a monthly quota.
    • Monthly quota settings: Select whether to use a monthly quota.
      • Limit usage: Restrict the number of API calls based on the set monthly quota.
      • Unlimited usage: Allow unlimited API calls.
    • Monthly maximum calls: Displayed if Limit usage is selected. Enter the maximum number of monthly calls.
  4. Click [Save].
    • The changed monthly quota is saved and takes a few minutes to take effect.
