You might run into the following problems when using Image Optimizer. Find out causes and possible solutions.
Global Edge CDN is not displayed in the list of available CDNs
- The CDN created through the Global Edge service does not appear in the list of available CDNs under the Image Optimizer service.
- When creating a project, the CDN generated in Global Edge is not visible in the list of available CDNs.
Cause
Due to Global Edge policies, CDNs created separately in the Global Edge menu cannot be used. Only Global Edge CDNs created using the Create New feature in the Image Optimizer service are displayed in the available CDNs.
Solution
To create a CDN using the Create New feature in the Image Optimizer service, follow these steps:
- On the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click
> Services > Media > Image Optimizer in order. - From the Project Management menu, click the [Create Project] button.
- Select Create new in the CDN settings section.
- After selecting a profile in Global Edge, choose the service Region and service domain.
- If there is no Edge profile, click
in Global Edge to create a profile.
- If there is no Edge profile, click
- See Create Project to create a project.
- Once the project is created, a Global Edge CDN connected to Image Optimizer will be automatically generated.
- The CDN created using the Create New feature in Image Optimizer will be displayed in the list of available CDNs during future project creation.
Global Edge CDN created via Image Optimizer is not in the list of available CDNs
A Global Edge CDN created through the Image Optimizer service does not appear in the list of available CDNs.
Cause
The Edge release is not yet complete.
Solution
Check whether the Edge is released. To see whether the Edge has been released, follow these steps:
- On the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click
> Services > Content Delivery > Global Edge > Management in order. - Select an Edge profile in the profile area.
- Check the release status of the Edge.
- If the status is "In progress," it will not be displayed in the list of available CDNs.
- If the status is "Running," it will be displayed in the list of available CDNs.
