    In the broadcast stream management, we explain how to test streaming before the actual broadcast, check the streaming status during the broadcast, and monitor the streaming broadcast in order to ensure seamless streaming.

    Test streaming

    You can test if the streaming is working properly before the actual broadcast.
    The following describes how to test streaming.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Media > Live Station menus, in that order.
    3. Click the Channel Management menu.
    4. In the channel list, click to select the channel you wish to test streaming, and then click the [Test Streaming] button.
      • You can also click the [Test Streaming] button on the channel details page after clicking the channel name.
    5. Click the [Start Streaming] button in the test streaming pop-up window.
    6. Check the details in the pop-up window that appears, and then click the [OK] button.
      • The test streaming begins.
      • You can end the test streaming by clicking the [End Streaming] button.
      • You can click the [Refresh] button to refresh the video being streamed for a test.

    Check the broadcast streaming status

    The following describes how to check the broadcast transmission status.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Media > Live Station menus, in that order.
    3. Click the Channel Management menu.
    4. Click on the channel whose status you wish to check, and then click the [Status] button.
      • You can also click the [Status] button on the channel details page after clicking the channel name.

    Monitoring

    How to monitor streaming broadcasts is as follows:

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Media > Live Station menus, in that order.
    3. Click the Channel Management menu.
    4. Select the channel to monitor, and then click the [Monitoring] button.
      • You can also click the [Monitoring] button on the channel details page after clicking the channel name.
      • A monitoring pop-up window appears.
        • You can monitor the current streaming broadcast in the monitoring pop-up window, and you can check the streaming information by clicking the [Check Streaming Information] button. To refresh the streaming information, click the [Retry] button.
