Recording Management describes the composition of the [Recording] tab, where you can check and manage recorded files, how to save temporarily saved recorded files to an Object Storage bucket, and how to delete recorded files from the recorded file list.
In order to use the recording feature, you must set it to save the recorded file in the channel creation stage. If you set the Recording save settings to Do not record, you cannot use the recording feature.

The [Recording] tab includes the following components:

Upload temporarily saved recorded file
To save recorded files that have been temporarily saved in an Object Storage bucket for permanent storage:
Temporarily saved recorded files are only stored for 3 days, and then are permanently deleted. It is recommended that, when creating a channel, you set the recorded files to automatically save for permanent storage and specify the bucket in which to save the recorded files, so that you can permanently store the recorded files without the need for separate uploads.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Media > Live Station. - Click the Channel management menu.
- Click on the channel name where the recorded file to be uploaded is located.
- Click the [Recording] tab.
- Select the type of recording file to be uploaded.
- After selecting the recorded file to be uploaded from the list, click on the [Upload File].
- Select the bucket where you want to save the recorded file and then click on the [OK].
- If there is no created bucket, create a bucket by clicking on the [Create Bucket] on the recording VOD upload popup (see Create new bucket).
- The file status changes to Transferring and when the file upload is completed, it changes to Transfer completed.
Delete recording file
To delete a recorded file:
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Media > Live Station. - Click the Channel management menu.
- Click on the channel name where the recorded file to be deleted is located.
- Click the [Recording] tab.
- Select the type of recorded file to be deleted.
- In the list, select the recorded file you wish to delete and then click the [Delete].
- Check the details in the recording VOD deletion popup, and then click the [Delete].
- The recorded file disappears from the list.
The recorded file is not deleted from the Object Storage bucket even if you deleted it in the [Recording] tab.
