You can add and remove custom image quality.
Add custom image quality
You can create a new image quality by editing the detailed options of video and audio.
To add a custom image quality:
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Media > Live Station. - Navigate to Quality Management > Quality Profile.
- Click [Add image quality].
- Enter the name of the custom image quality and select the image quality type and initial settings.
- The name of the image quality can only be entered in combinations of letters, numbers, and underscores.
- NORMAL: Configure both video and audio properties.
- AUDIO: Image quality used only when obtaining audio output; audio properties configuration only.
- Initial settings: Click [Select] to select an initial image quality that helps configure detailed image quality options.
- Select the image quality in the image quality settings popup and click [OK].
- You can only select one of either the system image quality or the custom image quality.
- Select the image quality in the image quality settings popup and click [OK].
- Set the detailed options of the selected image quality based on its initial settings.
- If the image quality type is selected as AUDIO, only the detailed options for audio should be set.
- Check the configuration, and then click [Create].
Remove custom image quality
To remove a custom image quality:

To remove a custom image quality, you need to first make sure that the image quality is not in use in the channel. If you want to remove the image quality in use, return the channel that is using the image quality first (see Return channel).
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Media > Live Station. - Navigate to Quality Management > Quality Profile.
- Select the image quality you wish to remove by clicking on it, then click [Remove image quality].
- Check the details in the custom image quality deletion popup, and then click [Remove].
- The selected image quality is removed from the list.
