Media assets are files prepared for media analysis. They are video or image files registered to a project and serve as the basic unit of analysis and management. By adding media assets to a project, you can analyze videos and view the resulting analysis outputs.
View media asset
View media asset: Go to Workspace > click an asset row > in the right panel, open the Basic information tab > Index list tab > click an index card to view details.
You can view and manage media asset status on the project asset list interface.
Top toolbar
The following toolbar appears at the top of the asset list:

Status filter chips
You can use the status filter chips at the top of the asset list to quickly check the progress of indexing and scene summary. Each chip displays the number of assets that match the condition in parentheses.

Table columns
The asset list table includes the following columns:

| Checkbox | Select assets. You can select or clear all assets using the header checkbox. Assets with indexing pending or in progress cannot be selected. |

| Asset | Thumbnail (48 × 32) and file name. |
| Asset ID | Unique value assigned to the asset. |
| Last edit | Last task date and modifier. |
| Size | Original file size. |
| Indexing | Indexing status icon and text. Displays the status of the most recent indexing run for the asset. |
| Scene summary | Scene summary status icon and text. Displays the scene summary status of the latest index created for the asset. |
Each status icon is defined as follows:

When you click a row in the asset list, the details panel opens on the right. The right panel consists of the [Basic information] and [Index list] tabs.
Basic information tab
You can view the asset's basic information.
Index list tab
You can view the asset's index list and manage indexing and scene summary.
- Unanalyzed assets: The empty state interface displays the Start indexing button.
- Indexing pending / in progress: A virtual card is displayed, and you can cancel indexing with the [Cancel] button.
- Indexing failed: The virtual card displays the reason for failure and the [Retry] button.
- Indexing complete: The completed index card is displayed in the list. You can run, cancel, or retry scene summary directly from the index card.
Add media asset
To add a media asset:
- Access the Media Intelligence workspace.
- See Access workspace.
- Click the project name.
- Click [Add file].
- If no media assets have been added to the project, click [Select file from integrated bucket].
- Select the file you want to analyze in the add analysis file window.
- The list of files in the Object Storage bucket integrated from the Workspaces menu appears.
- If the file you want to analyze is not in the list, click [Check integrated bucket in console] and upload the file from the Object Storage menu.
- The upload requirements for analysis files are as follows. Only files that meet the following requirements are displayed in the list:

- Verify that the file to be analyzed has been added to the Selected files component.
- You can add up to 10 files at once.
- If you add a file that has the same name as an existing one, it is added with a duplicate name. Videos added with duplicate names are distinguished by their asset ID.
- Click [OK].
The maximum upload size via the Object Storage console is 1 GB. Use the Object Storage API or S3 Browser to upload larger files (up to 10 TB).
- Video resolution supported for analysis ranges from 360p to 1080p, and the maximum video length is 6 hours. The supported image resolution ranges from 360p to 1080p. Analysis does not start if the video or image fails to meet these requirements.
- Files converted and stored at low resolution are used solely for video-analysis purposes and are not used as data for engine training or further model improvement.
- Supported file formats will gradually be expanded.
Move media asset
To move a media asset to another project:
- Access the Media Intelligence workspace.
- See Access workspace.
- Click the checkbox for the media asset you want to move.
- The [Move] button appears at the top of the interface.
- Click [Move] and select the name of the project you want to move the asset to.
- Click [Move] that becomes enabled when the project name is selected.
Delete media asset
To delete a media asset:
- Access the Media Intelligence workspace.
- See Access workspace.
- Click the checkbox for the media asset you want to delete.
- Click [Delete].
- The [Delete] button appears at the top of the interface.
- When the media asset deletion window appears, click [Delete].
Deleting a media asset also deletes all indexes associated with it.
