    Article Summary

    Available in Classic and VPC

Media Connect Center Live channel allows you to transmit several multi-bitrate output streams quickly and easily via the web interface from a single Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) source stream through NAVER Cloud Platform's Live Station. You can also packetize the video and send it via HTTP Live Streaming (HLS).

It provides not only a feature that converts high-definition live video into various image quality levels, but also a real-time time shift feature and unlimited recording (on a 24-hour basis). You can also build a replay service using the video files you've created. The Live channel menu is a feature that's only available by linking with NAVER Cloud Platform's Live Station. Previously, managing recorded media files had to be done at Object Storage, and managing Live channels had to be done at Live Station. Now you can perform those tasks at once in Media Connect Center's Live channel management easily and conveniently through the linkage.

    Caution
    • In order to link with Live Station, you must be using Live Station. Additional fees apply when you request subscription to Live Station. For the introduction on Live Station and details about its pricing plans, refer to the Service > Media > Live Station menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
    • Live Station > Live channel is not displayed on the Media Connect Center screen if it's not linked to Live Station.
