Common issues

The common problematic situations users may encounter are as follows:

Volume resizing error
An error message appears when shrinking a volume.

Usage notation error
The capacity did not decrease after deleting the data.

Failed to replicate
The replication fails while replicating a volume from a Classic to a VPC.

Snapshot issues

Snapshot-related issues that users may encounter are as follows:

NAS data error during snapshot use
A problem has been detected with NAS data during snapshot use. The problem seems to be with data from two days ago.

Deleting a snapshot after the snapshot recovers
You recovered a snapshot from a specific time; all snapshots created since then have been deleted.

Volume information is not exposed when snapshots are set
When you try to set a snapshot from the Snapshot menu, the volume information does not appear.

Deleting snapshots
The snapshot was deleted because there were too many data changes.

Mount issues

Mount-related issues that users may encounter are as follows:

Mounted server not responding

  • After you returned a NAS volume, there was no response from the server you mounted it on.
  • The server where you mounted the NAS volume is in a hang state after you returned it.

Mounting a VPC Server on a NAS created in a Classic

  • You cannot mount a NAS created in a Classic to a VPC server instance.
  • You cannot add a VPC private IP when you set NFS for a NAS created in the Classic.

Errors when the NFS volume is mounted on a Windows server
You mounted an NFS volume on a Windows server for shared use on Linux and Windows, but it is not working properly.

Errors when the CIFS volume is mounted on a Linux server
The CIFS volume is not mounted on the Linux server.
