Neurocloud interface

The Neurocloud interface includes the following components:

Component Description
① Menu name Current menu name.
② Basic features Features displayed when entering the Neurocloud menu for the first time.
  • [Subscribe to Neurocloud]: Go to Subscribe to Neurocloud.
  • [Learn more]: Go to the Neurocloud overview page.
  • [Refresh]: Reload the current page.
③ Neurocloud list List of Neurocloud subscriptions. Here, you can view details and status of each Neurocloud.

Neurocloud information

To view the details of a created Neurocloud:

  1. Navigate to i_menu > Services > Hybrid & Private Cloud > Neurocloud from the NAVER Cloud Platform console in the VPC environment.
  2. Click Neurocloud.
  3. When the Neurocloud list appears, view the summary or click Neurocloud to view its details.
    • Name: The unique Neurocloud name entered by you when submitting the Neurocloud subscription request.
    • Location: The address where the Neurocloud is installed, as entered by you when submitting the Neurocloud subscription request.
    • Status: The processing status of the Neurocloud subscription request.
      • Under review: Displayed when the Neurocloud subscription request is made, and until the contract is signed.
      • Canceled: The Neurocloud subscription request has been canceled.
      • Preparing: Displayed when the contract is signed, and until the service begins operation.
      • Operating: The Neurocloud service is available for operation.
      • Returned: The service has been canceled.
    • Neurocloud owner: The email address of the Neurocloud requester.
    • [Request details]: View the information entered by you when requesting the Neurocloud subscription.
      • This button is enabled only when the processing status is Under review or Preparing.
    • Region: The Region which the current interface belongs to.
    • Request date: The date and time of the Neurocloud subscription request.
    • Contract period: The service period selected by you when requesting the Neurocloud subscription (3 or 5 years).
    • Service start date: The date and time when the processing status changed to Operating.
    • OS: The operating system installed in the Neurocloud computing server.
    • Contract expiration date: The date and time when the contract expires.
    • NAS capacity: The NAS capacity entered by you when requesting the Neurocloud.
    • Block Storage capacity: The block storage capacity entered by you when requesting the Neurocloud subscription.
    • LB: The specification (private or public) of the Load Balancer selected by you when requesting the Neurocloud subscription.
    • Number of nodes: The number of nodes per computing server.
    • Object Storage capacity: The object Storage capacity entered by you when requesting the Neurocloud subscription.

Subscribe to Neurocloud

To subscribe to Neurocloud:

  1. Navigate to i_menu > Services > Hybrid & Private Cloud > Neurocloud from the NAVER Cloud Platform console in the VPC environment.
  2. Click [Subscribe to Neurocloud].
  3. When the Neurocloud subscription interface appears, enter the required information and click [Subscribe].
    • Neurocloud name: Enter a unique name for Neurocloud.
    • Description: Enter a brief description of the Neurocloud's purpose.
    • Contract period: Select a service use period (3 or 5 years).
    • Neurocloud location: Enter the address where the Neurocloud equipment will be installed.
    • VM: Enter the number of computing servers.
    • Block Storage: Enter the Block Storage capacity.
    • NAS: Enter the NAS capacity, if necessary.
    • Object Storage: Enter the Object Storage capacity, if necessary.
    • LB: Enter the Load Balancer type, if necessary (private or public).
    • OS: Select the operating system to be installed on the Neurocloud computing server (CentOS, Ubuntu Linux, Red Hat Linux, or Windows).
  4. When the pop-up window appears listing the installation environment requirements and asking for request confirmation, check the information and click [OK].

You can also request this service through Contact Support on the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.

Neurocloud Region

Once the processing status becomes Operating after you request the Neurocloud subscription, a Neurocloud Region is created.
In Region located on the left of NAVER Cloud Platform console, select Neurocloud Region to use the Neurocloud console.

The following are the console features available only for Neurocloud Regions:

  • Addition of Services > Hybrid & Private Cloud > Neurocloud > On Premise Network: Register the customer's on-premise network and subnets. (See On-premise network.)
  • Addition of Services > VPC > On Premise Gateway: Create an on-premise gateway for communication between the on-premise network and the Neurocloud VPC. (See Create an on-premise gateway.)
  • Changes to Services > VPC > Subnet Management option: Change the options for creating a subnet.
    • You can only create private subnets.
    • For subnets, you can either select General or Load balancer.
  • Changes to Services > VPC > Route Table: If you enable route table, you can select OGW (on-premise gateway) for Target type.
Note

In a Neurocloud Region, the following limitations apply in Services > Compute > Server.

  • Hypervisor: Supported for KVM only.
  • Server image: Supported for OS only (not supported for application and DBMS types).
  • Server type: GPU is not supported.
  • Changing public IP address settings: Disabled.
  • Storage: Only SSD is provided.

Delete Neurocloud

To delete a Neurocloud, delete all resources created in the Neurocloud Region and contact a NAVER Cloud Platform administrator through Customer Support.

Note

To delete a Neurocloud, first you need to delete all resources (including VPCs, subnets, on-premise gateways, route tables, on-premise networks, on-premise subnets) created in the Neurocloud Region.
