Available in VPC
You might run into the following problems when using Ncloud Simple RabbitMQ. Find out causes and possible solutions.
Cannot connect from outside
I created a cluster, but I can't connect to it from outside the network.
Cause
The load balancer subnet must be public if the cluster is to be accessed from outside. Check if the load balancer subnet set for the cluster is public.
Solution
- The initial specifications set when creating the cluster cannot be changed. If an external connection is required, create a new cluster and set the load balancer subnet to public.
- You can connect to it from clients connected to the SSL VPN agent. Set up SSL VPN by referring to the SSL VPN guide.
Change cluster specifications
I want to change the specifications after creating a cluster.
I want to change the number of nodes.
Cause
The specifications of an already created cluster cannot be changed.
Solution
If you need to change the specifications, recreate the cluster with the desired specifications.
Cannot create a cluster
I cannot create a cluster.
Cause
The cluster cannot be created if you have reached the limit of second-generation servers (G2).
Solution
- If you are an enterprise customer, increase the limit for second generation servers in Service Quota.
- If you are an individual customer, you can request an increase in the limit on second generation servers from Customer Support.
Lost password
I have forgotten the user ID and password needed to access RabbitMQ.
Solution
Find user ID
You can find your user ID required to connect to the RabbitMQ server and the Management UI in the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console by navigating to
> Services > Application Services > Ncloud Simple RabbitMQ and clicking [User Management] for the applicable cluster.
Find password
If you have forgotten your password, you will not be able to find it. You will need to reset it. For more information on changing a password, see Editing account information.
Cannot apply a certificate
I cannot apply a certificate.
Cause
Ncloud Simple RabbitMQ does not support TLS.
Solution
- To apply a certificate, use a web server to apply a reverse proxy.
- If you are not using a web server, provide a relay server for requests, or build MQ directly on a separate VM and then apply TLS.
