Available in Classic and VPC
SSL VPN is a NAVER Cloud Platform service that allows you to build an SSL-type VPN for encrypted tunneling communication when connecting to NAVER Cloud Platform servers from the outside.
SSL VPN features
SSL VPN supports VPC and Classic environments. See VPC environment for features provided in the VPC environment, and Classic environment for features provided in the Classic environment.
VPC environment
SSL VPN provides the following features in the VPC environment:
- Rapid service: choose an SSL-encrypted tunneling VPN service based on the size of your service and easily subscribe through a web-based console, with service available within 10 to 20 minutes after subscription
- Easy authorization management: easily register subjects who you want to allow to access your SSL VPN from the web-based console and change their information
- Enhanced authentication: external access to the SSL VPN requires both ID/PW and a mandatory OTP-based secondary authentication to prevent ID/PW theft
- Agent for easy access from anywhere: provides an agent for access from NAVER Cloud Platform portal so that you can conveniently access your internal network from anywhere at any time
- Service type: create 1 SSL VPN per VPC, and categorize service types by the number of registered IDs
Classic environment
SSL VPN provides the following features in the Classic environment:
- Rapid service: choose an SSL-encrypted tunneling VPN service based on the size of your service and easily subscribe through a web-based console, with service available immediately upon subscription without a separate waiting time
- Easy authorization management: easily register subjects who you want to allow to access your SSL VPN from the web-based console and change their information
- Enhanced authentication: when accessing SSL VPN from external networks, you may configure optional OTP authentication alongside ID, in addition to ID and password, to prevent ID/PW theft
- Agent for easy access from anywhere: provides an agent for access from NAVER Cloud Platform portal so that you can conveniently access your internal network from anywhere at any time
- Service type: differentiates service types based on the number of IDs that can be registered
