Available in Classic and VPC
You might run into the following problems when using Organization. Find out causes and possible solutions.
Error message: "The account type is different from the master account"
I received the message "The account type is different from the master account."
Team members are not invited.
Cause
Organization is available only to business members. You can configure Organization only with accounts of the same member type (e.g., partner, sales). For service limits on using Organization, see Organization prerequisites.
Solution
- Invite business accounts with the same business registration number (excluding partner members).
- Invite accounts with the same member type.
- If you need a separate account to run the same project as the master account or an already invited member account, use the Sub Account service.
Unable to create Organization
Organization cannot be created.
Cause
You cannot create a new Organization in the following cases:
- The account is not a business account.
- The account has outstanding charges.
- The account is already registered with an Organization.
- The account is scheduled for a partner contract, termination, or change.
Solution
- If there are outstanding charges, use immediate payment to pay the fees.
- Check whether the account has already been invited to another Organization. Each account can join only one Organization.
- If a partner contract, termination, or change is scheduled, configure Organization after it is completed.
Duplicate Organization membership with a single account
I want to join multiple Organizations with a single account.
Cause
Each account can join only 1 Organization. Master accounts cannot join another Organization as members, and member accounts cannot create a new Organization or join another Organization.
Solution
According to the Organization policy, each account can join only 1 Organization.
Console access error for properly invited accounts
An account that was properly invited to an Organization cannot access the console.
Cause
If the account has not registered a payment method, it cannot access the NAVER Cloud Platform console. A registered payment method is required to use the console.
Solution
Even if the Organization master account has completed with the payment, all invited member accounts must also register their own payment methods. Register a payment method for the invited account.
