Errors that occur during translation
Errors may occur during translation.
Cause
- Depending on your task environment, a variety of causes may exist. The error code can help you identify the cause.
- Errors may occur if API requests are made before translation is complete and a response is received.
Solution
- Please check the error code. For more information about error codes, see Papago Translation APIs guide.
- Make sure you have not re-requested the translation while it is in progress.
- 200 Authentication error occurs if the header request is invalid. Check the Client ID and Client Secret values used in the API request. To troubleshoot authentication errors, see API Call Errors.
- Make sure you selected the appropriate API when you registered the application in the console. For information about selecting an API to use when registering the application, see Register application.
429 Too Many Requests
429 Too Many Requests error code is displayed.
Cause
If you exceed your Papago Translation daily limit, you may see this error code.
Solution
You need to adjust your Papago Translation daily usage in the console.
On the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click
> Services > AI Services > Papago Translation > Usage in order and check the daily limit.
