Note

As the supported asset types for analysis expanded from video to both video and images, the existing "Scene search" feature was renamed "Asset search."

Media Intelligence provides an asset-search feature that allows you to find matching assets across all analyzed media assets using specific keywords.

Asset search interface

The asset search interface includes the following components:

Item	Description
① Search conditions component	A component to set search conditions. [Upload image]: Upload image files for search.
② Reset and search	[]: Set the confidence level. [Reset]: Reset the selected settings. [Search]: Perform a search. Enabled when at least 1 condition is set.
③ Search results component	A component to view search results. Outputs a similarity score between the entered text or image and the resulting video scenes and images. Scores are not shown when the search is performed using only detailed conditions (keyword, person, dialogue, project, or index-modification time).

Search assets using images

To search assets using an image:

Access the Media Intelligence workspace.
- See Access workspace.
Click the Asset search menu.
Click [Upload image] to add an image file to search.
- Image upload conditions
  - File size: 5 MB or less
  - Extension: jpg, png, webp, heic
  - Resolution: 224 x 224 pixels or larger
Set the conditions.

Search assets using text

To search assets using text:

Access the Media Intelligence workspace.
- See Access workspace.
Click the Asset search menu.
Enter the keywords for the video or image asset you want to search.
- Keyword input conditions
  - Length: 1 to 1,000 characters
  - Input restrictions: Restricted special characters (;, |, `)
Set the conditions.

View search results

After searching for assets, check the search results.

View video asset search results

Item	Description
Video information	Video asset name (index ID).
Player component	Video player (see Index management).
Scene shot	Tooltip displayed when hovering over a matching shot result.
Scene information	Scene thumbnail. Scene ID. Scene timecode and run time of the scene. Scene matching score.
Script tab	Displays timecode, speaker, and dialogue information for the matched dialogue.
Go to index	Go to the video where the scene appears.
Previous search and next search	Navigate to the scene if previous or next search results exist.

View image asset search results

Item	Description
Image information	Image asset name (index ID).
Matching image	Tooltip displayed when hovering over a matching image result.
Image information	Thumbnail image. Image matching score.
Script tab	Displays timecode, speaker, and dialogue information for the matched dialogue.
Go to index	Go to the analysis results for this image.
Previous search and next search	Navigate to the scene if previous or next search results exist.

Note

If multiple analysis indexes exist for a media asset, only the most recently created index is used for search.
Person information can be viewed if person labeling has been completed in the index details. For more information on how to label a person, see Person labeling.
