Media Intelligence allows you to search for scenes in all analyzed videos using specific keywords.

Scene search interface

The scene search interface includes the following components:

Item Description
① Search conditions area Area to set search conditions.
  • [Upload image]: Upload image files for search.
② Reset and search
  • [i_maiu-projeuct-filter]: Set the confidence level.
  • [Reset]: Reset the selected settings.
  • [Search]: Perform a search. Activates when at least one condition is set.
③ Search results area View search results in this area.
  • Displays search results and similarity scores for scenes matching the input scene or image.
  • Scores are not displayed if only detailed conditions (keyword, person, dialogue, project, or index modification time) are set.

Search scenes using images

To search scenes using an image:

  1. Access the Media Intelligence workspace.
  2. Click the Scene search menu.
  3. Click [Upload image] to add an image file to search.
    • Image upload conditions.
      • File size: 5 MB or less.
      • Extension: jpg, png, webp, and heic.
      • Resolution: 224 x 224 pixels or larger.
  4. Set the conditions.

    Project
    Index edit time
    • To clear the conditions, click [Reset].
  5. Click [Search].

Search scenes using text

To search scenes using text:

  1. Access the Media Intelligence workspace.
  2. Click the Scene search menu.
  3. Enter keywords for the scene.
    • Keyword input conditions.
      • Length: 1-1,000 characters.
      • Some special characters are restricted: (;, |, and `).
  4. Set the conditions.

    • To clear the conditions, click [Reset].
  5. Click [Search].

View search results

After searching scenes, review the search results.

Item Description
Video information Video asset name (index ID).
Player area Video player (see Index management).
Scene shot Tooltip displayed when hovering over a matching shot result.
Scene information
  • Scene thumbnail.
  • Scene ID.
  • Scene timecode and run time of the scene.
  • Scene matching score.
Script tab Displays timecode, speaker, and dialogue information for the matched dialogue.
Go to index Go to the video where the scene appears.
Previous search and next search Navigate to the scene if previous or next search results exist.
Note
  • If multiple analysis indexes exist for a video asset, only the most recently created index is searched.
  • Person information can be viewed if person labeling has been completed in the index details. For information on how to label a person, see Person labeling.
