You might run into the following problems when using Security Monitoring. Find out causes and possible solutions.
Agent status issue
The agent is installed, but the status shows as off in NAVER Cloud Platform console.
Cause
The agent installation was not completed.
Communication between the agent and the security equipment is not functioning properly.
Solution
- See IPS/Anti-Virus agent installation and operation to ensure the agent installation is complete.
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Security > Security Monitoring > Setting > Security Equipment, and click the [Subscribe] button in each tab. For more information, see Security Equipment. - Refresh the page and check the agent status.
- Delete Agent and reinstall it to check the status.
Agent execution error
The agent is not being executed.
Cause
The agent has not been installed or is not the latest version.
Solution
- Install the agent on the server where IPS (V2) and Anti-Virus (V2) were subscribed. See the installation guide and install the agent.
- Ensure the server with the installed agent has not been terminated.
- Check that the agent is up to date.
- See Supported kernel versions for each operating system.
- Delete Agent and reinstall it to check the status.
