    The Calling Number section describes how to register/manage caller IDs used to send an SMS.

    Note

    To use features provided in SMS > Calling Number menus, you must have a project where SMS is enabled. To create a project, see Create project, and to edit the settings of a created project, see Edit project.

    Register calling number

    To send an SMS message, you must register a calling number first. You can register a calling number through authentication by document or mobile phone.

    Note

    You can register up to 10 calling numbers per account. If you need to register more calling numbers, contact the Customer support.

    Register calling number (authentication by document)

    The following describes how to register a calling number through authentication by document.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the menus of Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service, in that order.
    3. Click the SMS > Calling Number menus in order.
    4. Select the project to register a calling number and click the [Register calling number] tab.
    5. Click the [Authentication by document (Doc)] button.
    6. Check the content of the calling number authentication by document request pop-up window and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
    7. Enter the calling number information and upload the necessary documents.
      • Calling number: enter the calling number
        • Only numbers are allowed. Do not enter '-'.
      • Name (Corporate Name): enter the name of a person or company of the calling number
      • Upload the necessary documents: click the [Add file] button and upload the necessary documents
        • Only PDF, JPG, and PNG files can be uploaded.
        • You can upload up to 10 MB.
      • Request content: enter the content to be forwarded
    8. Click the [Request] button.
      • When the request is completed, the [Search calling number] tab appears.
      • An authentication request is confirmed and approved by the NAVER Cloud Platform admin, and it may take 1 to 2 business days. A registered calling number can be used immediately to send SMS messages.

    Edit the information of calling number registration request

    If you request the calling number through authentication by document, you may edit the request information.
    The following describes how to edit the information of calling number registration request.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the menus of Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service, in that order.
    3. Click the SMS > Calling Number menus in order.
    4. Select the project to edit the request information, and click the [Search calling number] tab.
    5. Click the row of the calling number you want to edit the request information and click the [Request again] button.
    6. When the Calling number document authentication request pop-up window appears, edit the information and click then [Request] button.
      • The edited content is applied.

    View calling number

    The following shows how to view registered calling numbers.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the menus of Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service, in that order.
    3. Click the SMS > Calling Number menus in order.
    4. Select the project to view a calling number and click the [View calling number] tab.
      • Click the calling number row to check the details.
      • You can click and download the files attached in the Attachment. However, attached files whose retention period ends have a strikethrough, and you can’t download them.
      • If the calling number registration request is in review or rejected, click the [Request again] button and edit the request information to request again.

    Delete calling number

    The following describes how to delete a registered calling number.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the menus of Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service, in that order.
    3. Click the SMS > Calling Number menus in order.
    4. Select the project to delete a calling number and click the [View calling number] tab.
    5. Click the calling number row to be deleted and click the [Delete] button.
    6. When the Calling number deletion pop-up window appears, enter then calling number and click the [Delete] button.
      • The calling number is deleted and removed from the list.
