          There are a few terms you need to know to use Simple & Easy Notification Service. The glossary and its description are as follows.

          Application Programming Interface (API)

          Generic term for various interfaces that allow application programs to be written using operating systems, systems, applications, libraries, and others through programming

          Fail-over

          Backup mode where the secondary system takes over features and starts operating, when the primary system closes due to errors or operation time out
