Private Subnet describes the screen configuration of the Private Subnet menu and private subnet information, and explains how to create and delete a private subnet.
Private Subnet is a service that provides an independent virtual network environment that allows internal communications between servers.
- To use the Private Subnet function properly, you need to use it with the Network Interface function.
- You can create one private subnet per zone.

You can view private subnet information on the Private Subnet page.
Private Subnet page
From the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, click the Console > Services > Compute > Server > Private Subnet menus, in that order, to view the Private subnet page.
The Private Subnet page is laid out as follows:

Create private subnet
The following describes how to create a private subnet.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Compute > Server menus, in that order.
- Click the Private Subnet menu.
- Click the [Create private subnet] button.
- Specify the settings, and then click the [Next] button.
- The IP range can be set within 192.168.0.0/16 with an increment of /24.
- Check the details, and then click the [Create] button.
- After private subnet creation is completed, the status is changed from Creating to Running.
Delete private subnet
The following describes how to delete a private subnet.
Private subnets being used by network interfaces cannot be deleted. Terminate the network interface first.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Compute > Server menus, in that order.
- Click the Private Subnet menu.
- Click to select the private subnet to delete from the private subnet list, and then click the [Delete] button.
- Check the details in the delete pop-up window, and then click the [OK] button.
- The private subnet is terminated and disappears from the list.
