Once you have reviewed the Search Engine Service's required specifications and fully understood the Usage scenario and Glossary, you are ready to begin using the Search Engine Service. The first thing to do now is to request a subscription for the Search Engine Service.
Request subscription
There is no separate subscription process for the Search Engine Service. If you have created a cluster, you have already requested a subscription.
- New clusters cannot be created in a classic environment after July 21, 2022. Use a VPC environment. For information on how to create a cluster in a VPC environment, see Create cluster.

Cancel subscription
There is no separate procedure for canceling the Search Engine Service. Once you've stopped using created clusters and deleted all of them, then you can consider the service as being canceled. For how to delete a cluster, see Delete cluster.
