Once you've reviewed the NAVER API HUB specifications, you're ready to start using the service. Your next step is subscribing to and managing NAVER API HUB. You can subscribe to and manage your NAVER API HUB in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
Since NAVER API HUB is a service provided via API, you can only subscribe to the service, unsubscribe from the service, and manage usage on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

Subscribe to the service.
To subscribe to NAVER API HUB:
You agree to the terms of service of the API service when you initially use the AI·NAVER API service on NAVER Cloud Platform. If you are already using any other service of the AI·NAVER API, this process is skipped, so move to Register an application.
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Region & Platform in the upper-right corner of the console interface.
- Select the region and platform you are using, and click [Apply].
- Click Menu on the upper-left corner of the console interface.
- Navigate to Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.
- Click the Subscription menu.
- Click [Subscribe].
- When the popup appears, check the guides on the terms of service and the provision of personal information to a third party, and if you agree, select the checkbox at the bottom.
- Click [OK].
- Check the list of applications that you can register and proceed to the following steps:
Once you register an application, a unique Client ID and a Client Secret value are created per application. The Client ID and Client Secret values are included in the HTTP header values and transferred when calling the API. Register an application
You must register the application after agreeing to the API terms of service. The application is strictly required to use the API of NAVER API HUB. Since the Client ID and Client Secret values are included in the HTTP header values and transferred when calling the API, unique Client ID and Client Secret values are created per application when you register an application.

To register an application:

In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.

Click the Application menu.

Click [Register an application].

Select an API you want to register in the Select API interface, and click [Next].
- You can select a category and search at the top right.
- You can check the [Pricing information] and [Development guide] in each API card.
- The provided APIs are as follows:

Check the selected application information and enter the application name in the Application information input interface.
- Selected application: API item selected in the previous step.
- Application name: Enter the application name.
- Can enter up to 20 characters.
- Only alphanumeric characters and special characters (-) are allowed.

Click [Complete].
- The application is registered.
Check application information
You can view the registered application list in the Application Services > NAVER API HUB > Application menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console. To check application information from the application list:
- In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.
- Click the Application menu.
- Check application information.
- Application: The name of the app set when you registered the application
- Category: Service selected when you registered the application
- API: Service selected when you registered the application
- Daily usage: Real-time daily usage per API (UTC+9)
- Monthly usage: Real-time monthly usage per API (UTC+9)
- Registration date and time: Date and time when the application was registered
- Settings: Settings for API call usage limits and notifications when a specific threshold (%) is exceeded
- Click [Credentials].

- When the authentication information window appears, check the authentication information.
- Application Key
- Application name: Name used to distinguish the application.
- Client ID (X-NCP-APIGW-API-KEY-ID): An ID required for authentication. Enter it as X-NCP-APIGW-API-KEY-ID in the header or query string. Click
{height="" width=""} to copy the value. - Client Secret (X-NCP-APIGW-API-KEY): A SecretKey password required for authentication. Enter it as X-NCP-APIGW-API-KEY in the header or query string. Click
{height="" width=""} to copy the value, and click [Reissue] to change the value.
- Application Key
- Click [OK].
Ensure that the Client ID and Client Secret are not exposed externally. If you are concerned about security, reissue the authentication information with a new value in 7.
Edit an application
To edit the registered application information:
- In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.
- Click the Application menu.
- Click the
button of the application you want to edit. - Click [Edit an application].
- Edit the necessary information, and then click [Save].
- The application information is updated.
Delete an application
To delete a registered application:
- In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.
- Click the Application menu.
- Click the
button of the application you want to delete. - Click [Delete application].
- Check the application name in the [Delete application] window, and click [OK].
- The application is deleted.
Manage usage
You can check the usage status for each registered application and set various options for billing management.
Check daily/monthly usage
To check daily and monthly usage:
- In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.
- Click the Application menu.
- From the application list, check the real-time daily and monthly usage of the application you want to check.
- Based on UTC+9.
- The daily usage is initialized to 0 at 00:00 AM (KST).
It takes around 1 minute for the actual daily/monthly usage to be reflected.
Set usage limits
You can set daily and monthly usage limits yourself to prevent excessive service usage fees from being charged. To set usage limits:

In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.

Click the Application menu.

. Click [Limits and notifications] of the application for which you want to change the usage limit in the application list.

Enter the monthly and daily limit values under the [Set limits] tab menu.

Click [Save].
You can check the usage limit change history under the [Limit change history] tab menu in the Limits and notifications popup window.
Set threshold notifications
When a certain usage rate of the daily/monthly limit value set by you is exceeded, you can receive notifications through email or SMS.
To set threshold notifications:
- In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.
- Click the Application menu.
- Click [Limits and notifications] of the application for which you want to change the usage limit in the application list.
- Click the checkbox for the daily or monthly limit settings item under the [Set limits] tab menu.
- Select the threshold value (%) at which you want to be notified.
- If 70% is selected, notifications are sent at 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%.
- If 90% is selected, notifications are sent at 90% and 100%.
- Click [Save].
- See Set notification recipients to enter the address at which you want to receive the threshold notifications.
You will not receive notifications if you do not set notification recipients, even if you have set threshold notifications. Make sure to set notification recipients.
Set notification recipients
To set up notification recipients and notification methods for when a certain usage rate of the daily/monthly limit value set by you is exceeded:
- In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.
- Click the Application menu.
- Click [Limits and notifications] of the application for which you want to change the usage limit in the application list.
- Click the [Set notification recipients] tab menu.
- Select a notification recipient and the notification method, and then click [Add].
- To move to Cloud Insight (monitoring) in order to add a new recipient, click [Manage notification recipients].
- Once you complete setting up the notification recipients, click [Save].
You can select only registered notification recipients in the notification recipient settings. You can register a new recipient in the Notification recipient menu of Cloud Insight. For more information, see Add recipient in the Notification recipient user guide.
Unsubscribe from the service
To unsubscribe from NAVER API HUB, you must delete all created NAVER API HUB applications. To cancel your NAVER API HUB subscription after deleting the applications:
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Region & Platform in the upper-right corner of the console interface.
- Select the region and platform you are using, and click [Apply].
- Click Menu on the upper-left corner of the console interface.
- Navigate to Services > Application Services > NAVER API HUB.
- Click the Subscription menu.
- Click [Subscribed], then select Unsubscribe.
- In the unsubscription popup, check the details and click [OK].
- Click [OK] in the unsubscription popup.
- Your subscription is now cancelled.
