You can use various NAVER APIs through the NAVER API HUB API on NAVER Cloud Platform. While you can explore the service in detail with our Getting started and Using NAVER API HUB guides, we recommend starting with this quickstart overview to understand the complete workflow. Here's the entire process for using NAVER API HUB:
1. Set user permissions.
2. Subscribe to the service.
3. Register an application.
4. Check authentication information.
5. Use API.
6. View usage.
1. Set user permissions
If multiple people managing NAVER API HUB, you can assign different permissions to each user. Using NAVER Cloud Platform's Sub Account service, you can create admin and user roles with varying access levels.
Setting up user permissions is optional—you can configure them at any time.
Sub Account is a free service with no additional charges. For more information about Sub Account and pricing, see Services > Management & Governance > Sub Account on the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.

2. Subscribe to the service
Subscribe to the NAVER API HUB service. For detailed instructions, see:
3. Register an application
Once you have completed subscribing to the service, you must register an application. NAVER API HUB provides various NAVER APIs, including search and shopping. You can register all APIs within a single application or select and register only the APIs you want. For detailed instructions about application registration, see:
4. Check authentication information
Registering an application automatically generates authentication information, allowing you to check the Client ID and Client Secret values. For detailed instructions about checking authentication information, see:
Ensure that the Client ID and Client Secret are not exposed externally. If you have security concerns, reissue them with new values. Check the procedure for reissuing the authentication key in Check application information.
5. Use API
For detailed instructions when using the APIs, see:
When displaying the NAVER trademark or logo (BI) on a service developed using APIs, you must comply with NAVER's trademark and BI usage rules. For more information, see Using NAVER API HUB trademark and BI.
6. View usage
View NAVER API HUB API usage on the NAVER Cloud Platform console. Since you are charged when exceeding a certain usage threshold, manage your NAVER API HUB usage by setting usage limits or configuring threshold notifications. For detailed instructions, see:
