API Workflow is a service that enables you to quickly implement new Microservices by combining APIs from NAVER Cloud Platform with HTTP-based APIs. You can easily register APIs and configure Workflows using the registered APIs in an intuitive web-based UI environment without writing any code. You can automatically execute Workflows based on events and schedules, and monitor the execution results and runtime of the Workflows in real time.

Note
  • API Workflow integrates with Resource Manager, which allows you to manage resources such as Workflows and Authorities, and Cloud Activity Tracer, which enables you to view usage logs for API Workflow.
  • You can register APIs listed in the API Gateway to the API templates of API Workflow (service under preparation).
  • Services that support Webhooks upon Event occurrences, such as Cloud Insight and the Web service Monitoring System, can also be integrated with API Workflow (service under preparation).

Various features provided by API Workflow

  • Process automation: You can use the Schedule feature in API Workflow to configure workflows to execute automatically at intervals specified by you. In addition, each Workflow is provided with a unique Endpoint, allowing you to automatically execute Workflows based on Events by calling the corresponding Endpoint when a specific Event occurs.
  • Real-time monitoring: you can periodically execute Workflows you have configured and monitor detailed information such as execution results and runtime to assess service availability in real time.
  • Integration with various services: you can configure services using APIs provided by NAVER Cloud Platform's services. You can also execute event-based workflows by integrating with services such as NAVER Cloud Platform's Cloud Insight and Web Service Monitoring System.
  • Intuitive web UI: the web-based console allows you to easily configure Workflows without writing any code and provides a clear overview of the Workflow execution order.
