The following explains how to register and manage certificates in the Certificate List.
Certificate List To access the menu, go to NAVER Cloud Platform Portal and click [Console] > Services > Security > Certificate Manager > Certificate List.
Certificate List page
The Certificate List page is laid out as follows.
Area | Description |
---|---|
① Menu name | Name of the menu currently being viewed and the number of certificates you registered and issued |
② Basic features | Features displayed when you enter the Certificate List menu for the first time |
③ Delete | Click to delete a certificate (see Delete certificate) |
④ Certificate list | Display registered or issued certificates |
Check the Certificate List.
Certificate List The following describes how to check the certificates registered in the certificate list in the menu.
- From NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Security > Certificate Manager menus in order.
- Click the Certificate List menu.
- Check the summary information in the certificate list, or click a certificate to see the details.
- Name: the certificate name set when registering the application
- Domain: the representative domain of the certificate
- Additional domain: subdomains included in the certificate
- Status: certificate status
- Authentication Start Date: the date authentication starts
- Authentication End Date: the date authentication ends
- Issuing Institution/Issuing CA: information of the institution which issued the certificate (Certificate Authority)
- In Use: certificate use status
- If in use, it shows instance type/number /name.
- Serial Number: certificate's unique number
- Public Key Info: public key information
- Registration Date: the date which the certificate was registered
- Issuance Date: the date which the certificate was issued
- Signature algorithm: identifier of the algorithm used by the CA to sign
When the certificate status is Normal, it can be used normally by in the integrated services. Other certificate statuses include Expired, Revoked, In Progress, Validation Timeout, and Failed. For more information, see Certificate status.
Issue certificate
You can obtain and use SSL/TLS certificates from NAVER Cloud Trust Services, a trusted certificate authority. For more information, see the following documents.
Register external certificate
You can register and manage SSL/TLS certificates issued by authorized a certificate authority (CA). For more information, see the following documents.
Delete certificate
- Expired and revoked certificates are not automatically deleted. Follow the procedure for deleting a certificate to delete it.
- If you have services with which the certificate is connected, you can delete it after removing the connection with the certificate from those services.
Once deleted, a certificate can't be recovered.
The following describes how to delete a certificate.
- From NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Security > Certificate Manager menus in order.
- Click the Certificate List menu.
- Select a certificate to delete and click the [Delete] button.
- Check the content in the Delete Certificate pop-up window and click the [Delete] button.
Certificate status
The following is a description about certificate status.
Certificate status | Description | Scope of Application |
---|---|---|
Normal | A valid, unexpired certificate is successfully registered or issued | Issued certificate, external certificate |
Expired | The certificate has expired The expired certificate cannot be used for integrated services. If it expires while in use by an integrated service, you must issue or register a new certificate in Certificate Manager and then follow the procedure for replacing certificates for each service in use | Issued certificate, external certificate |
Revoked | The issued certificated is revoked Depending on the terms of service, issued certificates may be revoked in situations such as compromise of the private key, misuse of the certificate, etc. Revoked certificates can't be used for integrated services | Issued certificate |
In Progress | Certificate issuance application is in progress It changes to Normal when the domain is successfully validated within 72 hours of application completion and the certificate is successfully issued | Issued certificate |
Validation Timeout | The domain has not been validated for more than 72 hours from the time the certificate issuance application was completed Certificate issuance applications that have timed out of validation cannot be resumed, so you will need to apply for a new certificate | Issued certificate |
Failed | Certificate issuance is restricted for the applied domain, or the issuance failed due to a technical cause during the certificate issuance process Failed certificate issuance applications cannot be resumed and you will need to apply for a new certificate | Issued certificate |
