    This document explains how to view and manage events that occurred by event rules and download event list in Event.

    To access the Event menu, connect to the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, and then click the [Console] > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight (monitoring) > Event, in that order.

    Event page

    The event page is laid out as follows.

    ① Menu nameName of the menu currently being viewed
    ② Basic featuresFeatures displayed when initially accessing the Event menu
  • [Learn more about product]: Click to go to the Cloud Insight introduction page.
  • [Refresh]: Click to refresh the graph of the events that occurred and event list.
  • ③ Search periodSearch period can be set to standard time, last hour, last 6 hours, last 12 hours, last day, last week, or user defined time.
  • [Now]: Click to view the data as of current time.
  • ④ FilterService, level, type of the events to view and whether to include the deleted resource can be set.
    ⑤ Event occurrence graphThe number of event occurrences is displayed in a line graph.
  • You can click Info, Warning, or Critical to display events corresponding to each level.
  • ⑥ Search fieldThe status buttons of the events to view and search window is displayed.
  • Click the [All], [Open], or [Close] button to filter events by status.
  • DownloadClick to download the event list.
    ⑧ List of event detailsThe list of details on the events that occurred is displayed.
  • Click an event occurred to view the event's details.
      • [Edit]: Click to modify the event rule. (Refer to Modify event rule)
      • [Settings]: Click to add event rule tags. (Refer to Set event tag)
      • [Add]: Click to add a comment about the event. (Refer to Add comment)
      • [View all]: Click to see all comments and add comments.
      • [Edit]: Click to edit the comment.
      • [Delete]: Click to delete the comment.
  • i-cloudinsight_filter: You can click it to set items to be displayed on the list.
  • Manage event

    You can add tags or comments to events that occurred for managing them.

    Set event tag

    You can set tags to easily classify and manage events that occurred for certain purposes.

    The following describes how to set an event tag.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight (monitoring) menus, in that order.
    2. Click the Event menu.
    3. Click the event you want to set tags from the event list.
    4. Click the [Set] button.
    5. Enter values of key and value in the tag settings pop-up window, and then click the [Add] button.
      • The entered values are added to the Added tag list.
      • To delete an added tag, click i-cloudinsight_delete of the tag to delete.
    6. Click the [Save] button.

    Add comment

    The following describes how to add a comment.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight (monitoring) menus, in that order.
    2. Click the Event menu.
    3. Click the event you want to add a comment from the event list.
    4. Click the [Add] button.
      • You can also click the [Add] button from the pop-up window, which shows all comments and appears after clicking the [View all] button.
    5. Enter the comment's author and content in the Add comment pop-up window, and then click the [Save] button.
      • The entered author name, the author's account ID, and date and time added are displayed with the comment entered in Comment.
      • You can click the [Edit] button to edit the comment.
      • You can click the [Delete] button to delete the comment.

    Download event list

    The following describes how to download the event list.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight (monitoring) menus, in that order.
    2. Click the Event menu.
    3. Search the event to download, and then click the [Download] button.
    4. Click the format in which the files will be downloaded.
      • You can download files in JSON or CSV formats.
