Event

Available in Classic and VPC

You can check and manage events that occur due to the event rule and download the event list.

To access Event, access the NAVER Cloud Platform portal and navigate to [Console] > Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight > Event.

Event interface

The Event interface includes the following components:

Component Interface
① Menu name Current menu name.
② Basic features Features displayed when you enter the Projects menu for the first time.
  • [Learn more]: Go to the Cloud Insight overview page.
  • [Refresh]: Reload the current Event graph and list.
③ View period You can set the view period according to KST/last 1 hour/last 6 hours/last 12 hours/last 1 day/last 1 week/custom.
  • [Current]: View based on the current time.
④ Filter You can set services/levels/types of the event to view, and whether to include the resource deleted.
⑤ Event occurrence graph Displays the number of Event occurrences in a bar graph.
  • Click Info, Warning, or Critical to set whether to display events of the corresponding level.
⑥ Search component Displays the Event status button and search bar.
  • Click [ALL], [OPEN], or [CLOSE] to filter Events by status.
Download Click to download the Event list.
⑧ Detailed event list Displays a list of Events that have occurred.
  • Click occurred Events to view Event details.
  • [Edit]: Edit an Event Rule (see Edit Event Rule).
  • [Settings]: Add an Event Rule tag (see Set Event tags).
  • [Register]: Register Event comments (see Register comments).
  • [View all]: Register comments and view all registered comments.
  • [Edit]: Edit comments.
  • [Delete]: Delete comments.
  • i-cloudinsight_filter: Set which item is displayed in the list.

Manage events

You can set a tag to an event that has occurred or register a comment to manage an event.

Set Event tags

You can set a tag to classify and manage an event that has occurred according to a specific purpose.

To set Event tags:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight.
  2. Click Event.
  3. Click the event to set a tag in the event list.
  4. Click [Set].
  5. In the Set tags popup, enter a Key and Value and click [Add].
    • The entered value is added to the List of tags added.
    • To delete a tag you added, click i-cloudinsight_delete of the tag to delete.
  6. Click [Save].

Register comments

To register a comment:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight.
  2. Click Event.
  3. Click the event to register a comment in the event list.
  4. Click [Register].
    • In the View all comments popup, which appears after clicking View all, you can also click [Register].
  5. In the Register comments popup, enter the comment registrant and the content, and then click [Save].
    • The registrant's name and account ID, the date and time of register, and the entered comment are displayed in Comment.
    • Click [Edit] to edit the comment.
    • Click [Delete] to delete the comment.

Download Event list

Note

Up to 10,000 Events can be downloaded.

To download the Event list:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight.
  2. Click Event.
  3. View the Event and click [Download].
  4. Select the file format for download.
    • You can download the file in JSON or CSV format.
