You can store email addresses in the address book and group multiple recipients to use when sending emails.

Address book interface

To access the Address book menu, in the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Cloud Outbound Mailer > Address book.
The Address book interface includes the following components:

Component Description
① Menu name Current menu name.
② Basic features Features displayed when you first access the Address book menu.
  • [Register address]: Click to add an email address (see Add address).
  • [Reset]: Click to delete and reset the entire address book (see Reset address book).
  • [Learn more]: Go to the Cloud Outbound Mailer overview page.
  • [Refresh]: Reload the current address book.
③ Recipient group tree View the list of created recipient groups and the number of email addresses included in each group.
  • Enter a group name in the input field to create a new group (see Create group).
  • Click i_cloudoutboundmailer_option to perform additional actions for each group.
④ Post-creation features Features displayed after creating an address book.
  • [Delete]: Click to delete the selected email addresses.
  • [Remove from group]: Click to remove the selected email addresses from the group (this button is not displayed in the full address list).
  • [Edit group]: Click to edit the group of the selected email addresses (see Edit group).
  • [Send mail]: Click to go to the mail sending interface with the selected email addresses set as recipients.
⑤ Email address list View the list of registered email addresses and their details.
  • Click i_cloudoutboundmailer_option to perform additional actions for each email address.
Download request/list Download the list of registered email addresses as an Excel file (see Download address book).
⑦ Search bar Search by entering an email address.

Create group

To create a new recipient group:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Cloud Outbound Mailer.
  2. Click the Address book menu.
  3. In the group name input field at the top of the interface, enter the name of the group to create.

    • You can enter up to 100 characters using Korean, English uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, periods (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
    • Once a value is entered, the [Create] button will be enabled.
  4. Click [Create].

Add address

To add a new email address to the address book:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Cloud Outbound Mailer.
  2. Click the Address book menu.
  3. Click [Register address].
    • To add addresses to an existing recipient group, select the group in the recipient group tree, then click [Register address].
    • If you add addresses while All addresses is selected, only the addresses are added without assigning them to a group.
  4. When the Register address popup appears, add addresses using one of the following methods:
    • Multiple entry: Enter email addresses in the input field at the bottom.
      • You can enter up to 1,000 addresses at a time.
      • Separate addresses using the [Tab], [Space], or [Enter] key, or a comma (,) or semicolon (;).
    • Bulk file upload: Click [Select file for bulk registration] to upload an Excel or CSV file containing email addresses.
      • You can use files up to 10 MB in size.
  5. Click [OK].
  6. Click [OK] in the notification popup.

Edit group

To edit the assigned group for email addresses in the list:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Cloud Outbound Mailer.
  2. Click the Address book menu.
  3. In the email address list, select the address, then click [Edit group].
  4. In the group drop-down list, edit the assigned groups.
    • You can select groups to add or clear the selection for groups to remove.
    • You can select multiple groups.
    • To create a new group, enter the group name in the group name input field, then click [Create].
  5. Click [Apply].

Download address book

To download the data registered in the address book as an Excel file:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Cloud Outbound Mailer.
  2. Click the Address book menu.
  3. Click [Download requests/list].
  4. In the Excel download list popup, click [Request file creation].
    • Depending on the data size, it may take some time to generate the file.
    • The generated file can be downloaded for 1 week before it expires.
  5. Click [Download].
    • The data is downloaded to your local PC.
  6. Click [OK].

Reset address book

To delete all recipient groups and email addresses and reset the address book:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Cloud Outbound Mailer.
  2. Click the Address book menu.
  3. Click [Reset].
  4. When the reset popup appears, click [OK].
