Domain

Available in Classic and VPC

In CLOVA Speech, you can create domains and manage recognition tasks for each domain. You can set the storage path of the recognition target file and result file for each domain, and you can request a recognition task through the builder provided for each domain.
In the Domain menu, you can create and manage domains and execute the domain builder.

The basic description of the Domain menu for using CLOVA Speech is as follows:

Check domain list

The following describes how to check the information on a created batch.

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Services > AI Services > CLOVA Speech menus in order.
3. Click the Domain menu.
4. When the domain list appears, check the summary information of the domain.
   • Domain name: the name of the domain entered when creating a domain
   • Domain code: the code of the domain entered when creating a domain
   • Type: the pricing plan of the domain
   • Creation date (UTC+09:00): domain creation date and time
   • Run: click [Run builder] to run the builder for the domain (For more information on builders, see Builder for Long-sentence Recognition or Builder for Short-sentence Recognition.)

Create domain

The following shows how to create a domain.

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Services > AI Services > CLOVA Speech menus in order.
3. Click the Domain menu.
4. Click the [Create domain] button.
5. Enter domain information.
   • Domain name: enter the name of the domain to be created
   • Domain code: enter the code of the domain to be created
     • As domain codes cannot be edited, enter them carefully.
   • Service plan: select a pricing plan for the domain
     • Free: the free plan is applied, and you can use a certain amount of recognition time for free every month. However, only 1 free domain can be created per account and cannot be deleted.
     • Basic: the basic plan is applied.
   • Additional functions: select additional functions for the domain
     • (Long-sentence recognition) Speaker recognition: enable recognition and distinction of speaker.
     • (Long-sentence recognition) Event detection: enable detection of events, such as music and applause, in the sound source.
     • (Short-sentence recognition) Pronunciation test: enable testing of pronunciation accuracy of English words and sentences. This is available only when English is selected.
   • Be careful when selecting domain type since the selection cannot be changed.

6. Enter the object storage path to save the recognition target and result file.
   • Result file storage path: after clicking the input field, select the object storage path for saving the recognition result file in the pop-up window
   • Recognition target storage path: after clicking the input field, select the object storage path to save the file to be recognized in the pop-up window
   • [Shortcut to Object Storage] button: click it to display the console screen of Object Storage
7. Click the [Save] button.

Edit domain

The following describes how to edit information on created domains.

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Services > AI Services > CLOVA Speech menus in order.
3. Click the Domain menu.
4. Select the domain to delete from the domain list, and click the Edit button.
5. Edit the domain information, and click the [Edit] button.

Delete domain

The following describes how to delete created domains.

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Services > AI Services > CLOVA Speech menus in order.
3. Click the Domain menu.
4. Select the domain to delete from the domain list, and then click the [Delete] button.
5. When the Delete Domain pop-up window appears, check the precautions and click the [Delete domain] button.
