This section explains the layout of the Cost Analysis interface and how to view detailed service usage costs by resource.
Cost Analysis interface
The Cost Analysis interface includes the following components:

Note
Cost Analysis menu is unavailable in the following cases:
- For a sub account to which the permissions to use the Cost Analysis menu are not assigned, see User-defined policies.
- For a partner member account to which the permissions are not assigned, see Unable to use partner member account.
Cost details by service
To view detailed costs for each billing item by service:
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cost Explorer.
- Click Cost Analysis.
- Select the services to view detailed costs.
- The view conditions are immediately applied, allowing you to instantly check the cost information based on the settings.
- Removing a selected service immediately updates the view interface.
Note- Cost data is updated every morning based on data from the previous day.
- Changing the view period after setting filters resets the filters. Set the view period first, then apply the filters.
- Services: If there are more than 2 billing item groups, they are aggregated and displayed.
- Billing item groups: If there are more than 2 billing items, they are aggregated and displayed.
- Billing items: If there are more than 2 billing items, they are aggregated and displayed. However, even if the billing items are identical, they are separately displayed in the Region unit.
- Region: Displays the Region name of the resource. (For Region common products, it is displayed as Region common.)
- Resource name: Displays the unique, distinguishable value in the resource.
- Resource name, if set by the user.
- IP address or subnet information for products if identifiable by IP address or subnet information.
- Additional information: Additional information by resource is displayed separately.
- Billing information related to the product is displayed.
- Shown as "-" if there is no additional information.
- Start date: Displays the start time of billing.
- End date: Displays the end time of billing.
- Status: Displays the resource status (normal/end/end (product change)).
- Unit price: Displays the unit price of the resource.
- Hourly pricing plans use hours as the unit, while monthly pricing plans use months.
- Up to 9 decimal places are displayed. If the value exceeds 9 decimal places, it is rounded at the 10th decimal place.
- When unit prices are shown by tier rather than as individual unit prices, click Tiered price details to view more information.

- If unit prices differ by Country tier or by Country/Region, click Tiered price details (country) or Tiered price details (Region) to view more information.

- If the usage unit is not 1, the unit is shown as "units."
- Usage: Displays the resource usage and the unit depending on the set usage amount.
- For tiered services, it displays the total usage for each tier.
- For products with usage added to a single billing item, click the usage arrow button to display the usage by resource.

- Displays the actual usage by resource for usage expressed in units

- Up to 6 decimal places are shown.

- Usage price: Displays the unit price of the billing unit × the usage amount of the billing unit.
- For tiered services, it displays the total charge for each tier.
- Displays per resource.
- Billing item discount: Click
to expand billing items to view detailed discount items.
- Contract discount: Displays the contract discount amount applied to some products by resource.
- Membership contract discount: Displays the membership contract discounted price applied to some products by resource.
- Discount through the membership pricing plan: Displays the discounted price applied based on the membership pricing plan by resource.
- Other discounts: Displays the discounted price with other discounts applied by resource.
- Billing item group discount: Click
to expand billing items to view detailed group discount items.
- Product discount: Displays the discounted price by billing item group, including Region product discounted price.
- Credit: Displays the discounted price by billing item group, including Region credits.
- Cancellation charges: Displays cancellation charges by billing item group.
- Cost: Displays the amount applied to the following calculation:
- Usage amount - contract discount - membership contract discount - membership plan discount - other discount - product discount - credits + penalty fee.
Download cost information
You can download the detailed cost data from Cost Analysis as an Excel (.xlsx) file. Downloading the Excel file is recommended if some data cannot be seen in your web browser.
The information displayed in the Excel file is separated as follows:
- Total sheet: Total service amount information.
- Detail sheet: Cost details by item.
