This section explains the layout of the Cost Analysis menu and how to view service usage costs in detail by resource.
Cost Analysis interface
The Cost Analysis interface includes the following components:

Note
Cost Analysis menu is unavailable in the following cases:
- A sub account without permission to use the Cost Analysis menu (see User-defined policies).
- A partner member account without permissions (see Partner member account restrictions).
Cost details by service
To view detailed costs for each billing item by service:
- In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Management & Governance > Cost Explorer. - Click the Cost Analysis menu.
- Select the services to view detailed costs.
- The view conditions are immediately applied, allowing you to instantly check the cost information based on the settings.
- Removing a selected service immediately updates the view interface.
Note- Cost data is updated every morning based on data from the previous day.
- Changing the view period after setting filters resets the filters. Set the view period first, then apply the filters.
- Service: If there are 2 or more billing item groups, they are shown as a merged group.
- Billing item group: If there are 2 or more billing items, they are shown as a merged group.
- Billing item: If there are 2 or more billing items, they are shown as a merged item. However, even for the same billing item, costs are shown separately for each Region.
- Region: Displays the Region name of the resource. For products common across Regions, it is indicated as "Common."
- Resource name: Displays an identifiable unique value from the resource.
- Resource name, if set by the user.
- IP address or subnet information for products if identifiable by IP address or subnet information.
- Additional information: Displays additional information for each resource.
- Billing information related to the product.
- Shown as "-" if there is no additional information.
- Start date: Displays the start time of billing.
- End date: Displays the end time of billing.
- Status: Displays the status of the resource. (Normal/Ended/Ended (product change)).
- Unit price: Displays the unit price of the resource.
- Hourly plans use hours as the unit, while monthly plans use months.
- Up to 9 decimal places are shown. For exceeding digits, the value is rounded up at the 10th decimal place.
- When unit prices are shown by tier instead of individually, click Tiered price details to view more information.

- If unit prices differ by Country tier or by Country/Region, click Tiered price details (country) or Tiered price details (Region) to view more information.

- If the usage unit is not 1, the unit is shown as "units."
- Usage: Displays resource usage and its billing unit.
- For tiered services, it displays the total usage for each tier.
- Up to 6 decimal places are shown.

- Usage price: Displays the charge calculated as the billing unit price multiplied by billing usage.
- For tiered services, it displays the total charge for each tier.
- Displays per resource.
- Billing item discount: Click
to expand billing items and view details for discount items.
- Contract discount: Displays contract discount amount applied to some products per resource.
- Membership contract discount: Displays membership contract discount charges applied to partial products per resource.
- Membership plan discount: Displays discounts applied per membership plan per resource.
- Other discount: Displays other applied discounts per resource.
- Billing item group discount: Click
to expand the billing item and view details for group discount items.
- Product discount: Displays discounts per billing item group, including Region product discounts.
- Credit: Displays discounted amount per billing item group, including Region credits.
- Penalty fee: Displays the penalty fee amount per billing item group.
- Amount: Displays the value calculated as usage amount.
- Usage amount - contract discount - membership contract discount - membership plan discount - other discount - product discount - credits + penalty fee.
Downloading cost data
You can download the detailed cost data from Cost Analysis as an Excel (.xlsx) file. Downloading the Excel file is recommended if some data cannot be seen in your web browser.
The information displayed in the Excel file is separated into the following sheets:
- Total sheet: Details of total service cost details.
- Detail sheet: Details of costs by item.
