Available in VPC
You can request the export of analysis results completed in a box to an external location. Submitting an export request starts an export approval review, and the results are exported through an Object Storage bucket after approval.
Export interface
The Export interface includes the following components:

View export request list
To view details of an individual export request from the list:
- In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Big Data & Analytics > Datafence. - Click the Export menu.
- Click an item in the export review list to view its details.
- Request number: Unique number automatically assigned when an analysis result export is requested.
- Review status: Review status of the analysis result export.
- Review requested (file transfer not yet started): The export request is submitted.
- Review requested (file transfer in progress): The file is being copied to the bucket for export review.
- Review requested (file transfer completed): The file has been copied to the bucket for export review.
- Approved (bucket saving not yet started): The export review is completed and approved.
- Approved (bucket saving in progress): The approved file is being copied to the target bucket.
- Approved (bucket saving completed): The approved file has been copied to the target bucket.
- Rejected: The export request is rejected during the review process.
- Error (file): Export failed due to a file error.
- Error (system error): Export failed due to an internal system error.
- Applicant ID: ID of the user who requested the export of analysis results.
- Reason for rejection: Reason for rejection when file export is rejected.
- Box name: Name of the box that generated the analysis results.
- Export request date and time: Date and time when the file export is requested.
- Source NAS: NAS name that imports analysis results.
- Export completion date and time: Date and time when the file export is completed.
- Source file: Original file name of the analysis results.
- Target bucket: Name of the Object Storage bucket where the file is stored when export is approved.
- Memo: Memo entered during file export request.
- Up to 50 characters can be entered.
Request exporting analysis results
To request the export of analysis results from a box:
- In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Big Data & Analytics > Datafence. - Click the Export menu.
- Click [Request export] in the top of the interface.
- Enter request information in the Request export popup.
- Data box name: Select the box that contains the analysis results to be exported.
- Files to export
- Source NAS: Select the NAS where the analysis results to be exported are stored.
- Source file: Enter the name of the original file of the analysis result to be exported.
- Up to 10 files can be requested for export at the same time, and the maximum size per file is 2 GB.
- File description: Enter a detailed description of the file to be exported.

- Export purpose: Enter the purpose of exporting the file.
- Entering this information is recommended for a smooth export review process.
- Target bucket: Select the Object Storage bucket where the file will be stored after export approval.
- If no bucket has been created, click [Go to Create Object Storage bucket] to create the Object Storage bucket.
- Memo: Enter a memo for the export request. Up to 50 characters.
- Click [OK].
- The export request for analysis results is registered.
- After the review is completed, the review result is sent by email. If the export is approved, you can download the file in the predefined target bucket.
Only one review can be processed at a time. If there is an existing review request, another review can be requested only after the previous review is completed.
Data export guidelines
The types of data that can be exported from Datafence are as follows:
- Analysis results in the form of aggregated data, models, source codes, and images
When requesting an export, you must provide a description of the file.
- Common: Description of the analysis purpose and results
- Aggregated data: Description of each item and the aggregation method
- Model: Code used to generate the model and its description
- Source code: Brief comments within the code and a description of the code purpose
- Image: Code used to generate the image and its description
Files can be exported only after approval by a Datafence administrator, and export review conditions must be confirmed with the administrator.
Cancel analysis result export request
To cancel an export request for analysis results:
- In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Big Data & Analytics > Datafence. - Click the Export menu.
- Select the request you want to cancel from the export request list and click [Cancel export].
- You can cancel only the history in the Review requested status.
- Click [OK] in the popup.
- The export request will be canceled and also deleted from the review request history.
