Once you've reviewed the Datafence specifications, quickstart, and glossary, you're ready to start using the service. Your first step is subscribing to Datafence.

Subscribe to the service

Datafence is available on the NAVER Cloud Platform console only to customers whose subscriptions have been approved through customer service. The overall sequence of subscribing to Datafence and the description of each sequence are as follows:

1. Customer service

First, to contact the NAVER Cloud consultant to use Datafence:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
  2. Navigate to Customer Support > Contact us on the top of the portal.
  3. Click the [Service] tab.
  4. Fill out the relevant content for using Datafence, and then click [Contact us] to submit your inquiry.
  5. Once your subscription has been approved following a consultation with a NAVER Cloud consultant, access the NAVER Cloud Platform console and subscribe to the Datafence service.

2. Subscribe from the console

When your subscription to Datafence is approved, you can immediately create and manage Datafence in Services > Big Data & Analytics > Datafence > My Datafence on the NAVER Cloud Platform console. For more information on how to create and manage Datafence, see Create Datafence and Manage Datafence.

To access the Datafence menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. In the top right of the console, click Region and Platform.
  3. Select your region and platform, and then click [Apply].
  4. In the top left of the console, click i_menu.
  5. You can create and manage Datafence directly in the Services > Big Data & Analytics > Datafence menu.

Unsubscribe from the service

There is no separate procedure for canceling a subscription to Datafence. If you return all Datafence created, you are considered unsubscribed. For more information on how to return Datafence, see Return Datafence.
