Getting started with File Safer

If you have checked the required specifications of File Safer and sufficiently learned the Use Scenario and Glossary, you are ready to start using File Safer, Now, the first thing to do next is to subscribe to File Safer. You can subscribe to File Safer and manage your subscription on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
Subscribe
The following describes how to request a subscription to File Safer.
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- From the Region menu, click the Region you are using.
- From the Platform menu, click the platform you are using.
- Click the Services > Security > File Safer menus in that order.
- Click the [Subscribe] button.
- When the pop-up window for agreeing to the terms of service appears, agree to the terms and conditions, and click the [Subscribe to product] button.
- Click the [OK] button in the pop-up window.
- Requesting subscription to File Safer is completed, and the Hash Filter screen is displayed.
Request API permissions
As the API of File Safer is provided through the API Gateway, you must subscribe to the API Gateway and create an API Key. For details on how to do this, see the API Gateway user guide.

Since the Subscription Type of the File Safer API is public, you can use the File Safer API only with the API Key you created without a separate subscription process.
Unsubscribe
The following describes how to unsubscribe File Safer.
If you cancel your subscription, you cannot use the service, and interface with other services is also canceled. Also, since all data is permanently deleted, you cannot check previous scan results. Therefore, it is recommended to cancel the subscription after backing up the history information stored while using the service.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Security > File Safer menus.
- Click the Subscription menu.
- Click the [Product in use] button, and then click Unsubscribe product.
- Check the details in the pop-up window for unsubscribing service, and click the [OK] button.
- Subscription to File Safer will be canceled.
