A Traffic Profile consists of a domain that receives incoming traffic, a Traffic Policy that distributes the traffic, and configuration information for TTL and health check logs.
You can create and manage Traffic Profile in the Traffic Profile menu.
Traffic Profile interface
Here is a basic overview of the Traffic Profile menu for using Global Traffic Manager.

View the Traffic Profile list
To view information about created Traffic Profiles:
- Navigate to
> Services > Networking > Global Traffic Manager in the NAVER Cloud Platform console. - Click the Traffic Profile menu.
- When the Traffic Profile list appears, review the summary information or click Traffic Profile to view details.
- Profile name/domain: The domain assigned to the Traffic Profile.
- Status: The status of the Traffic Profile (Running, Configuring).
- Associated Traffic Policy: The applied Traffic Policy.
- Applied algorithm: The load balancing algorithm applied to the associated Traffic Policy.
- Traffic Policy name (ID): The applied Traffic Policy (Traffic Policy ID).
- TTL: The TTL for resources of the domain.
- Created date and time: The date and time when the Traffic Profile was created.
- Health Check: Whether health check settings are applied for the associated Traffic Policy.
- Resource status: Click [View] to check the list and status of resources configured in the associated Traffic Policy.
- If no health check is configured, the resource status is displayed as N/A.
- Health Check log integration: Indicates whether health check logs are integrated with Cloud Log Analytics (Y: Enabled, N: Disabled).

Create a Traffic Profile
To create a Traffic Profile:
- Navigate to
> Services > Networking > Global Traffic Manager in the NAVER Cloud Platform console. - Click the Traffic Profile menu.
- Click [Create Traffic Profile].
- Enter the Traffic Profile settings and click [OK].
- Profile name: Enter the Traffic Profile name.
- Based on the entered information, a domain to be used in Global Traffic Manager is created.
- The Profile name and domain cannot be changed after creation. Enter carefully.
- Traffic Policy: Click the dropdown menu and select the Traffic Policy to apply to the Traffic Profile.
- [Create Traffic Policy]: Click to create a Traffic Policy (see Create a Traffic Policy).
: Click to refresh the Traffic Policy list in the dropdown menu.- [View]: Click to view the list and status of resources configured in the selected Traffic Policy.
- Health Check log integration: Click the toggle button to select whether to integrate health check logs with Cloud Log Analytics.Caution
If Cloud Log Analytics is not in use, the service is automatically subscribed to, and log storage charges are incurred.

- Profile name: Enter the Traffic Profile name.
- TTL (seconds): Click the dropdown menu and select the TTL for domain resources.
- A value of 300 seconds is recommended by default.
- If a long TTL is set, reduce the TTL before making changes, and increase the TTL again after the changes are complete.
Change Traffic Profile settings
To change the settings of a created Traffic Profile:
- Navigate to
> Services > Networking > Global Traffic Manager in the NAVER Cloud Platform console. - Click the Traffic Profile menu.
- Select the Traffic Profile to change and click [Profile settings].
- Change the settings and click [OK].

Delete a Traffic Profile
To delete a created Traffic Profile:
- Navigate to
> Services > Networking > Global Traffic Manager in the NAVER Cloud Platform console. - Click the Traffic Profile menu.
- Select the Traffic Profile to delete and click [Delete].
- When the Delete Traffic Profile popup appears, enter the Traffic Profile name, and click [OK].
