In video stats, you can view various indicators related to player viewing, such as real-time views, playback success count, playback time, and viewers' session log, and analyze video stats by content.

To view the indicators related to the video stats:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
  2. Click Media Analytics.
  3. Click [Go to Media Analytics] at the top of the interface.
  4. Log in with the admin account ID and password.
  5. Click the Video stats menu, then select and click the submenu to check.

Real-time views

You can view the number of current views watching players. The following are detailed collection criteria:

Item Description
Collection target Measures the number of sessions in which the player event is currently occurring every minute.
Aggregation criteria
  • If a single viewer watches multiple videos, each video is aggregated separately.
  • User sessions with no playback for 3 minutes without player events are considered as abandoned, so they are excluded from the count.

The following are the features available for viewing indicators:

  • Filter: You can selectively view desired data using the filters at the top of the interface.
    • Custom: You can save frequently used filter settings as custom filters.
      1. Set the filters as you want.
      2. Click Filter > [Save current filter selection].
      3. Enter a name and then save.
    • Initialize: To clear the applied filters, click [Initialize filters].
  • Graph expansion: Drag over a certain component of the graph to zoom in. To return the graph to its initial state, click [Initialize].
  • Save collected data: You can view individually collected data based on the criteria in the list at the bottom of the interface. To save the data locally, click i-vpe_download.

Playback success count

You can view the number of successful playbacks by viewers that clicked playback. The following are detailed collection criteria:

Item Description
Collection target The number of times the viewer successfully played by clicking playback on the player.
Aggregation criteria
  • If a viewer is successfully playing multiple videos, each successful playback is aggregated separately.
  • If the user clicks playback but fails to play, it is excluded from the count.
  • If the user replays after completing the viewing, it is excluded from the count.
Session log startup

The following are the features available for viewing indicators:

  • Filter: You can selectively view desired data using the filters at the top of the interface.
    • Custom: You can save frequently used filter settings as custom filters.
      1. Set the filters as you want.
      2. Click Filter > [Save current filter selection].
      3. Enter a name and then save.
    • Initialize: To clear the applied filters, click [Initialize filters].

Total playback count

You can view the total number of playback button clicks by viewers. The following are detailed collection criteria:

Item Description
Collection target The number of times the viewer has clicked playback to attempt playback.
Aggregation criteria
  • If a viewer attempts to play multiple videos, each successful playback is aggregated separately.
  • The count also includes autoplay players.
  • Attempts to move to the previous or next track are included in the count.
  • If the user replays after completing the viewing, it is excluded from the count.

The following are the features available for viewing indicators:

  • Filter: You can selectively view desired data using the filters at the top of the interface.
    • Custom: You can save frequently used filter settings as custom filters.
      1. Set the filters as you want.
      2. Click Filter > [Save current filter selection].
      3. Enter a name and then save.
    • Initialize: To clear the applied filters, click [Initialize filters].
  • Graph
    • Expansion: Drag over a certain component of the graph to zoom in. To return the graph to its initial state, click [Initialize].
    • Category adjustment: Click the category in the top left corner of the graph to include or exclude it from the graph.
  • Save collected data: You can view individually collected data based on the criteria in the list at the bottom of the interface. To save the data locally, click i-vpe_download.

Total playback time

You can view the time of video playback by a player.

Note

Total playback time is estimated data that doesn't guarantee precise measurement. Use it as a reference only.

The following are detailed collection criteria:

Item Description
Collection target Time the video was played by the player, measured every minute.
Collection error If you leave a player while watching and can't receive a normal termination report, an error occurs up to 1 minute per playback.
Session log playing

Unique user

You can view your unique number through the number of IP addresses using a player. The following are detailed collection criteria:

Collection target The number of unique IP addresses using a player.
Aggregation criteria When multiple videos, players, or domains are used redundantly with a single IP address, ignore the redundancy and aggregate only once.

You can view the number of times the domain where the player is installed was called. The following are detailed collection criteria:

  • If the same viewer calls or call the same domain several times are aggregated separately

Recent session information

You can view your session log to call the player. The following are detailed collection criteria:

Collection target All session logs where 1 minute has elapsed since the time when the last event occurred by a player viewer.

Content analysis

You can view automatically analyzed data based on video stats by content. The following are detailed collection criteria:

  • Identify user interests and optimize content for content providers

The following are the features available for viewing indicators:

      1. Set the filters as you want.
      2. Click Filter > [Save current filter selection].
      3. Enter a name and then save.
    • Initialize: To clear the applied filters, click [Initialize filters].
  • Collect data
    • Search: You can sort the desired data by searching based on the content title or URL.
    • Save: To save the data in the list locally, click i-vpe_download.
