    You can configure and manage permissions for top level shared folders and view logs of sharing links at Manage shared folder of Media Connect Center service preferences.

    Caution

    Service preferences > Manage content folder is a menu that is only accessible by Media Connect Center admins. It is not shown on the Media Connect Center screen for regular users.

    Manage top level content folders

    The following describes how to view the list of top level shared folders that are in use or have been deleted, as well as how to set access permission owners or restore deleted top level shared folders.

    1. Click the Service preferences > Manage shared folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Click the [Manage top level content folder] tab menu.
    3. Check the required information.
      • Storage in use B: The amount of storage being used
      • Currently in use: Storage capacity that is being used by the top level content folder
      • Folder name: Name of the top level content folder
      • Master: Account name (email address) of the user who owns the master permission to the top level content folder
      • Member: Number of users who own the access permission to the top level content folder (including Master permission)
      • Date created: Date when the top level content folder was added
    4. If you would like to only view the top level content folder you want by searching, then enter the folder name and master at the top of the screen and click the [Search] button.
    5. To set the access permission owners to the top level content folder, click the settings icon.

    6. To restore the top level shared folder that has been deleted, click the [Restore] button.
    Note
    • The list is refreshed to the latest version when you click the [Reset] button.
    • For how to set the access permission owners to top level content folders or restore their permissions, please refer to Bucket folder.

    The following describes how to view the list of links to top level content folders (files) and copy sharing links.

    1. Click the Service preferences > Manage shared folder menu at the left side of the screen.
    2. Click the [Manage links] tab menu.
    3. Check the required information.

      • Type: Displays the objects shared with links, classified as folder, file, or file and folder
      • Content name: Name of the folder (file) shared with a link
      • Maximum number of downloads: Maximum number of downloads allowed of the folder (file) shared with a link to a local system
      • Link: View sharing links and copy by clicking the [Copy] button
      • Created by: Name of the user account who created the sharing link
      • Date of link creation: Date when the sharing link was created
      • Date of link expiration: Date when the sharing link is to be expired
    4. If you would like to only view the sharing links you want by searching, then enter the content name and creator at the top of the screen and click the [Search] button.
    Caution

    The list is refreshed to the latest version when you click the [Reset] button.
