You can register and manage services to use on NIMORO.
- The Service menu can only be accessed once the administrator grants you permissions in Resource Manager. Without the necessary permissions, you cannot access it even if you have Sub Account.
- The license refers to the permission allowing you to use NIMORO. Purchase as many licenses as the number of service users.
The NIMORO service can be created either for NAVER data analysis or for customer data analysis, depending on the analysis target.
- Create NAVER data analysis service: Analyze NAVER data provided by the Cloud Data Box service. To create the service, Cloud Data Box must be created first.
- Create client data analysis service: Analyze the data uploaded by the client. To create the service, Data Catalog must be created first.
Each account can have only 1 NIMORO service, which means NAVER data analysis and client data analysis cannot be used simultaneously. If you want to analyze your own data while you are already using NAVER data analysis service, delete the registered NAVER data analysis service and create the client data analysis service. Note that deleting the service permanently removes all associated data.
Service interface
In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Big Data & Analytics > NIMORO > Service to access the Service interface.
The Service interface includes the following components:

Create service
This section describes how to create NAVER data analysis service and client data analysis service.
- It takes 1-2 minutes to create a NAVER data analysis service.
- It takes up to 10 minutes to create a client data analysis service.
Create NAVER data analysis service
To create a NIMORO service for analyzing NAVER data:
- In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Big Data & Analytics > NIMORO. - Click the Service menu.
- In the NAVER Data Analysis, click [Create Service].
- Follow the steps below in order:
1. Set basic information
Configure the basic information for NAVER data analysis service and click [Next].

- Service code: Enter a unique service ID.
- Must begin with an uppercase English letter and be 5–30 characters long, using letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). Spaces are not allowed.
- Service name: Enter a service name.
- Must begin with an English letter, either uppercase or lowercase, and be 5–30 characters long, using letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). Spaces are not allowed.
- Service plan: Select your pricing plan. Currently, only the Basic plan is available.
- Add license: Enter the number of additional licenses needed beyond the default 3.
- Enter the number manually or click

- You can purchase 1 to 200 additional licenses.

2. Configure service integration
Select the data box you want to integrate into NAVER data analysis service and click [Next].
- You can select only 1 data box with the status In use from the Cloud Data Box service.

3. Final confirmation
- Check the details and click [Create].
- In the Create service popup, review the message and click [OK].
Create client data analysis service
To create a NIMORO service for analyzing client-uploaded data:
- In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Big Data & Analytics > NIMORO. - Click the Service menu.
- Click the [Create Service] under Client Data Analysis.
- Follow the steps below in order:
1. Set basic information
Configure the basic information for client data analysis service and click [Next].

- Service code: Enter a unique service ID.
- Must begin with an uppercase English letter and be 5–30 characters long, using letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). Spaces are not allowed.
- Service name: Enter a service name.
- Must begin with an English letter, either uppercase or lowercase, and be 5–30 characters long, using letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). Spaces are not allowed.
- Service plan: Select your pricing plan. Currently, only the Basic plan is available.
- Add license: Enter the number of additional licenses needed beyond the default 3.

2. Configure service integration
Configure the Data Catalog database to integrate into client data analysis service.

- Click the checkbox indicating your consent for Data Catalog integration and select the Data Catalog database you want to integrate into client data analysis service.
- You cannot select multiple databases. Select 1 database only.
- Configure the path of Object Storage where the data is stored.
- Once configured, the Object Storage path cannot be edited.
- To use a new Object Storage bucket, click the [Create bucket]. Click the
to see the newly created Object Storage bucket in the dropdown menu. - For more information on how to create an Object Storage bucket, see Create Object Storage bucket.
3. Final confirmation
- Check the details and click [Create].
- In the Create service popup, review the message and click [OK].
Edit service
You can scale the number of the added licenses other than the ones provided by default.
To edit the number of licenses:
- In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Big Data & Analytics > NIMORO. - Click the Service menu.
- Find the Service List and click the [Edit].
- When the service basic information popup window appears, edit the information.
- Additional licenses: Enter the number of licenses to add.
- Must be equal to or greater than the number currently in use
- Additional licenses: Enter the number of licenses to add.
- Click [Apply].
- When the service edit notification window appears, review the prompt and click the [Apply].
- Click [OK].
Delete service
To delete the created services:
- In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Big Data & Analytics > NIMORO. - Click the Service menu.
- Find the Service List and click the [Delete].
- When the service deletion popup window appears, review the prompt and click the [Delete].
- Click [OK].
