          • Papago Translation's API is a non-authentication-based open API for you to use with transferring the Client ID and Client Secret values to the HTTP Header when calling a POST. When you register the application, the Client ID and the Client Secret value are issued.

          Papago Text Translation API

          Papago Text Translation provides a service that translates entered text into multiple languages through an artificial neural network-based translation algorithm. In addition, the translation result may be supplemented with glossary, honorific translation, and term replacement options.           Note

          Papago Text Translation supports translation of 29 language pairs. The supporting language pairs are as follows:

          • Korean - English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, French, Spanish, Russian, German, Italian
          • English - Japanese, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, French, Spanish, Russian, German
          • Japanese - Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, French
          • Chinese (simplified)-Chinese (traditional)

          Papago Doc Translation API

          Papago Doc Translation provides a service that extracts text from the document and translates the text into the target language.           • Papago Doc Translation provides translation for 4 language pairs. The supporting language pairs are as follows:
            • Korean-English
            • Korean-Japanese
            • Korean-Chinese (Simplified)
            • English-Japanese
          • There is a limit on the document to be translated by Papago Doc Translation. The limits are as follows:
            • File type: MS Office (docx, pptx, xlsx), PDF, and Hangul (hwp version 5.0 or higher)
            • File size: up to 100 MB per document
            • Number of characters: up to 300,000 characters per document
