In Resource, you can check all resources created in NAVER Cloud Platform at a glance. You can quickly search desired resources, and view activity history by resource. You can also specify resource tags for logical management of resources.

The basics of using Resource menu for Resource Manager are as follows.

View resource information

The following describes how to check resources created in NAVER Cloud Platform.

1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Resource Manager menus, in that order.
2. Click the Resource menu.
3. From the resource list, click a resource to check its information.
   • Resource name: resource name set by the user in each service
   • Product: service the resource belongs to
   • Resource type: resource type the resource belongs to
   • Region: region where the resource exists
   • Platform: platform in which the resource was created
   • Resource change date and time: date and time the resource was last changed
   • Details
     • NRN: It refers to a unique representation of the resource. Refer to NRN (Ncloud Resource Names) for more information.
     • Tag: It refers to tag that was set on the resource. Click to display the Change tag pop-up window. For more information, refer to Change tag.
     • Group: It refers to the group the resource is included. Click to view the group list where the resource is included. For more information, refer to Group.
     • Activity history: Click the [Resource activity history] button to view the resource activity history of the resource. Refer to View resource activity history for more information.

Search resource

You can search for desired resources by using the filter feature or entering the resource name from the resource list. The following describes how to search for a resource.

1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Resource Manager menus, in that order.
2. Click the Resource menu.
3. Enter the resource name or set a filter to search for a resource, and then check the result.
   • Product: Select the service and resource type by service that the resource belongs to.
   • Region: Select the region where the resource exists.
   • Tag: Select the tag set on the resource.
   • Resource group: Select the group in which the resource is included.

View resource activity history

You can view the activity history by resource in NAVER Cloud Platform.

• You can check the resource activity history for the last 90 days.
• Resource activity history of certain services that are not linked with Resource Manager can't be checked.
  • For more information on collected resource activity history, refer to Activity collection list.
  • Services that will be linked in the future will be notified through Latest service news in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, and resource activity history for these service can be checked from the time of linkage.

The following describes how to check the resource activity history.

1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Resource Manager menus, in that order.
2. Click the Resource menu.
3. From the resource list, click the target resource, and then click the [Resource activity history] button.
4. When the Activity history pop-up window appears, check the resource activity history.
   
   • Search period: Select the search period or enter it manually to search the activity history for the period.
   • Activity details: Enter the activity details to search the activity history.

Change tag

In Resource Manager, you can use tags to manage resources of various services in NAVER Cloud Platform. Resources from different services can also be specified with the same tag to be utilized for search or management purposes. A tag is configured in the following format: Key:Value. The following describes keys and values that make up a tag.

• Key
  • Between 1 to 127 characters must be entered, and certain special characters (-, _) can be used.
  • In one resource, the key of a tag can't be duplicated.
  • When adding a tag with a key that already exists, the value of the existing tag is updated.
• Value
  • Between 1 to 127 characters must be entered, and certain special characters (-, _) can be used.
  • It is a value to identify individual resource that share the tag's key.

The following describes how to add, modify, and delete tags of resources.

1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Management & Governance > Resource Manager menus, in that order.
2. Click the Resource menu.
3. Select the checkbox in the resource list to select resources, and then click the [Change tag] button.
   • You can select multiple checkboxes and change tags of multiple resources at once.
   • You can change tags by clicking of Tag after selecting a resource.
4. When the Change tag pop-up window appears, change tags.
   • Add tag: Enter Key and Value, and click the [Add] button.
   • Modify tag: Click the [Modify] button, modify the tag information, and then click the [Apply] button.
     • You can click the [Cancel] button to cancel the tag modification.
   • Delete tag: Click the [Delete] button of the tag to be deleted.
   • When changing tags of multiple resources at once
     • If multiple resources selected have tags with the same key and different values, the value of that tag is displayed as Multiple values, and each value and the number of resources with that tag are displayed when you hover the mouse over.
     • When you modify a tag that only some of the resources have, the modified tag is given to all selected resources.
5. Click the [Close] button.
