You can register and manage BrandMessage template.

Note

To use the features provided in BrandMessage > BrandMessage Template, you need to have a project set to use the Biz Message. To create a project, see Create a project. To edit the settings of a created project, see Edit a project.

Registering a BrandMessage template

BrandMessages can be used immediately after registration and, unlike AlimTalk, do not require a review process.
To register a BrandMessage template:

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service.
  2. Navigate to Biz Message > BrandMessage Template.
  3. Select the project and KakaoTalk Channel to register the BrandMessage template and enter the template name.
  4. Select the target age group for message recipients.
    • For adult-only messages, a cover is applied to the chat message until age verification is completed, and only users aged 20 or older can view the content.
    • [Caution] Alcohol and e-cigarette device brands, sales businesses, and manufacturers must send messages through an "adult verification channel."
  5. Select the type of message to register.
    • Text type: A basic message type consisting of simple text. Suitable for simple information delivery such as guides and notices.
    • Image type: A message type that includes a single image along with text, allowing highly attention-grabbing visual messages.
    • Wide image type: A message composed of 1 card that includes an image, text, and a button (CTA). Used for product introductions and promotions.
    • Wide list type: A format in which a main wide image is displayed at the top, followed by multiple items arranged vertically in a list.
    • Carousel feed type: A structure in which multiple cards slide horizontally, allowing feed-based content to be displayed effectively. Each list item can include an image, text, and a CTA button, enabling multiple items to be introduced on a single interface.
    • Commerce type: A message type that includes commerce information such as price, discounts, and remaining quantity for a single product to drive sales.
    • Carousel commerce type: A multi-card message type centered on commerce information, allowing multiple products to be introduced at once.
    • Premium video type: A message type that uses video (KakaoTalk TV content) as the main content.
  6. Enter the template content according to the selected message type.
    • Enter the required elements according to the type, such as text length and line breaks, image size and aspect ratio, buttons, coupons, and pricing.

  7. Review your entries and click the Register button to complete the process.

Managing a BrandMessage template

You can edit or delete registered BrandMessage templates.

Editing a BrandMessage template

To edit a BrandMessage template:

  • Editable status: You can edit only templates with the "Registered" status.
  • Channel ID, template code, and template name cannot be edited.
  • When you edit a template, any changes are applied immediately after you save, and the status remains "Registered."
  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service.
  2. Navigate to Biz Message > BrandMessage Template.
  3. Select the project with a template to be edited and the KakaoTalk Channel.
  4. Select the template to edit and click [Edit].
  5. Apply the content to be edited in the Edit Template interface and click [Edit].

Deleting a BrandMessage template

To delete a BrandMessage template:

A deleted template cannot be recovered.

Note

You can reuse the deleted template code.

  1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Application Services > Simple & Easy Notification Service.
  2. Navigate to Biz Message > BrandMessage Template.
  3. Select the project with a template to be deleted and the KakaoTalk Channel.
  4. Select the template to delete and click [Delete].
  5. Enter the template code in the Delete template popup and click [Delete].
    • The template is deleted and removed from the list.
