You can easily implement a search function using Cloud Search of NAVER Cloud Platform. You can learn more about how to use Cloud Search at Getting started with Cloud Search and Using Cloud Search, but we recommend that you first look at the full scenario of using Cloud Search. You can use Cloud Search more efficiently by learning how to use it after studying the usage scenario. The full sequence of using Cloud Search and a description of each sequence are as follows:
1. Set usage permissions
2. Create domain
3. Upload documents
4. Use search services
5. Monitoring
1. Set usage permissions
If you need to manage and share Cloud Search with multiple users, you can set the permissions for each user. You can configure the permissions for each user as an administrator or a user through Sub Account of the NAVER Cloud Platform. You can also define the roles for each permission. Since setting usage permissions is not mandatory, you can set or remove them at any time whenever new permission is required while using Cloud Search.
Sub Account is a service provided free of charge upon subscription. For detailed description of Sub Account and its pricing plans, see the Services > Management & Governance > Sub Account menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
See the following guides:
2. Create domain
Creates a domain and sets up sections and indexes for the desired documents to search. See the following guides:
3. Upload documents
Upload the documents to search. You can upload data from JSON files or databases. Uploading documents automatically updates the index. See the following guide:
4. Use search services
You can set up and test the search engine in the console and run searches by calling APIs. See the following guides:
5. Monitoring
Check the domain's service usage and search term trends. Depending on usage, you can change the container type and number and service usage limit settings. See the following guides:
